Convergence will run for 8 issues, weekly through April and May, but the event will also include 40 individual two-issue miniseries with 10 issues being released every week. These will focus on the various heroes and villains spanning the entire history of the DCU. Details on the actual plot of the main Convergence miniseries were few and far between, but now, in addition to the first issue's fold-out cover by Ivan Reis and Joe Prado, EW have released synopses for the first 4 issues.

i just realised something that would be hillarious. If DC did a similar thing to spiderverse but with either batman or superman (preferabbly batman) then we could see comic batman team up with all the film batmen lol.

The whole bringing the old universe back just comes off as pandering the fans and giving in to their demands. They should stick to the reboot and use all their efforts to make quality books within the new52 universe and actually IMPROVING most of their current titles

@MrGambi - I so agree with you on the part about Barry's mom getting killed off. I really hate how Flash: Rebirth made that canon. Hopefully Zack Snyder won't use that origin. Because I liked how Barry had his parents still alive unlike the other JL members.

So looks like Convergence will be another Earth 2 book. Guess I'm not picking this up since I really dont like Earth 2.

Well still looking forward to all two shots. Especially the return of the real Wally.

The main N52 continuity isn't in this, only the N52 E-2 is from the current main comics. Don't count on anything being deleted or retconned.

On a related note, the cover for Multiveristy Mastermen is [frick]ing awesome. It's Nazi Superman arm wrestling Uncle Sam on top of the world.

Very much looking forward to this! It's a continuation of Future's End which I like, and a break from the new52 which I mostly dislike.
Hopefully this can trade a few characters in and out and fix some things that need fixing.

Frick convergence! Its just gonna be showing all your favourite characters from the pre-new 52 storylines getting killed off, to stop people asking for them to be brought back along with the pre-new 52.

If they kill off the original Wally West, im totally done with DC comics!
WruceBayne
WruceBayne - 1/15/2015, 7:26 AM
These multiverse storylines are so weak to me. I think the "multiverse" was created so that writers could cause a drastic change(Like killing a major character) and not have to worry about creatively resurrecting them. And I thought the New 52 was supposed to be the end of all this multidimensional nonsense.
