"Grim Hunt" continues in the Amazing Spider-Man. Part one was the best Spider-Man comic since "New Ways to Die." Does part two continue the epicness? The answer is yes.
This comic is the most brutal Spider-Man comic I have ever read. There is so much stabbing, and just the dark tone of "Grim Hunt" has a violent feel.
Kaine returns along with another spider: Arana. The action sequences are great and the dialogue is top-notch. I really liked the part when Spider-Man was arguing with Kaine about saving the others captured by the Kravinoffs. It shows what a true hero Spider-Man is.
Of course, one of my favorite parts was when Ezikiel said, "We must find the big spiders: Venom and Anti-Venom." I literally said, "Say what?" I really hope Venom and Anti-Venom appear in the latter parts.
Then of course, that turned out to be a scam. (SPOILER) It turns out that Ezikiel was never there. A team-work of Mysterio and Chameleon. I never expected it, but it was also disappointing since Venom and Anti-Venom might not appear now.
In closing, this comic is very, very good. The ending will probably be the most talked about ending of the coming weeks.
I give this comic a 5/5. That's right, I found that this comic was perfect.
Part three will be out in two weeks.
