With a high budget, utilizing $100,000 worth of equipment (including RED epic cameras) and featuring a cast of prolific Canadian actors, here is the full 3 minute 20 second trailer for Nightwing: Prodigal Son.

haha Dr. Crane looks like shit. Vicky Vale looks like she a damn grandma. Joker looked kinda dumb in that last part...the actor who plays him has to be really good. just dont know about that guy. Also where the hell did they get a nolan batmobile? Anyway with a few slight changes this could be alright. Aboot time a nightwing show started up.

Wasn't bad I guess. Thought red hood looks great. The action cuts were cool too. Still 100,000 was it? Thats just ridiculous.

Definitely did not shoot for sexy or even attractive women .... Cat woman vickie vale harley Quinn and poison ivy all look like their boyfriends put their face into a corner and then {Frick}Ed them in the a$s too hard

The guys over at Ismahawk, who are doing the Nightwing series, which they funded through kickstarter did a better job on their short. Plus I like their take on Grayson.

Although the effort was there, this was pretty bad. Doesn't matter how much money you spend or high quality equipment you use, doesn't make up for lack of talent. Should have been way better.

And since when do Batman's villains care about Nightwing? Too many characters, didn't make sense.

Great effort but the dialogue was cheesy and the delivery of the lines were very uninspiring. At least their Red Hood looks better than the other ones in fan videos.

Really??? They had a pretty decent budget and RED Epic cameras, and they still couldn't make a decent trailer?
The cinematography was pretty bland and everything looked very staged. They dialogue and acting was painfully bad! Also, what's up with the Zimmer score? Completely threw me off.

What a waste of $100,000. That was crap - acting was wooden throughout, dialogue tried to sound epic but was shit, no real story made apparent - the thing isn't even sure if it wants to be a part of Chris Nolan's Dark Knight Universe - it used Hans Zimmers TDKR score, the cowl from TDK, and the same sound effect on Bane's voice, but Bane was suddenly Latino and wearing his white costume (and alive), Joker was completely different, and numerous other differences.

When a project doesn't know what it wants to be, then it doesn't deserve to be made, because (as seen in the 'trailer') it will end up being a mess. It tried to fill in the gaps in its quality by ripping off aspects of Nolan's trilogy - thankfully, by the looks of things no one on this site is falling for it.

Let's hope this never gets made - it'd take comic book adaptations leaps and bounds backward.

I'm a film student, I'm usually much more forgiving of amateur film work and fanfilms than most people, but this was painful. While the cinematography and fight choreography was decent, the acting, writing, and production design (costumes) were all garbage. I really don't know how this got the level of funding it did.

I'm not one for knocking people who attempt to do something, but this doesn't look good at all, it has the right ideas, but the actors just don't look anywhere near professional enough, or shot in a good way, I mean look at the joker when he focused into view, he just looked like a college leaver in costume acting like the joker, not good. Nightwing and dick parts looked fine, but all the villians looked terrible, just bad face paint and stereotypical performances from people who have read two line bios about the characters, cat woman crawls on all fours and ivy is seductive....action! credit for trying but this really looks bad.
