Hugh Jackman, most famous for his role of Wolverine in the X-Men series, has had a cancer scare. According to Jackman, his wife became concerned with a mark on his nose and told him to see a doctor. Luckily he listened, and the doctors found it was cancer and treated it accordingly. He also states that it caused by the Sun.

Jackman took to his official Instagram to break the news. Along with a picture of his bandaged nose, he wrote: "Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she right! I had basil cell carcinoma. Please don't be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!"

The article says that this is the most common form of cancer, and while most survive, it can severly damage the skin.

Get well soon, Hugh!

Can't he just regen the damaged skin back?

In all seriousness, wish him the best of luck and hope for a quick recovery, the role wouldn't be the same without him

That's nothing. It'll grow right back (HA!). But seriously, skin cancer can be friggin' annoying. My granddaddy gets them all over his head because of all the field work he did on the farm when he was a youth.

That title is horribly misleading.
He hasn't been diagnosed with skin cancer, you twit.

A carcinoma growing on his nose, which was swiftly removed.

This is like saying that just because you have a mild head=ache, you've been diagnosed with a migraine.
It's wrong and misleading.
