Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has just debuted the first full trailer for Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle, and it actually looks... okay? At the very least, The Rock does the damn People's Eyebrow in it.

The story focuses on four high school kids who are sucked into the jungle world of Jumani, where they must fight to survive as far more formidable avatars played by Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black.

Check it out below, and let us know what you think in the usual place.

In a brand new Jumanji adventure, the tables are turned as four teenagers are sucked into Jumanji’s world – pitted against rhinos, black mambas and an endless variety of jungle traps and puzzles. To survive, they’ll play as characters from the game: meek Spencer becomes a brave explorer (Dwayne Johnson); hulky jock Fridge becomes a tiny genius (Kevin Hart); It-girl Bethany becomes a bookworm professor (Jack Black); and unathletic Martha becomes an amazonian warrior (Karen Gillan). To beat the game and return to the real world with their lives, they’ll have to start seeing things in an entirely different way.

Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle hits theatres on December 22.

the cast are going to make or break this one but it does look pretty damn fun. Nothing like the original though.

@BeyondtheFuture - I'm actually kind of happy about that. I love the original but I didn't know how they were going to do this without me complaining like crazy. I really like the video game idea. And the cast is pretty great.

Great cast, sure it'll be a great time and hilarious. Should've just made it an original story though, feels nothing like Jumanji. Like, at all.

Actually looks pretty fun. Like the character switch twist.
But let's admit it: this doesn't have the original spirit of Jumanji at all. This is like the remake for current generation.

@9daysleft - agree on both counts. Problem with all these reboots is they're usually kind of soulless. Shiny and beautiful and full of bouncy action and brainless fun but... well they're the kate upton of movies. I guess I'm cool with that?

@9daysleft - Exactly. If its a sequel, they better have a good explanation to how it became a video game all of a sudden. But this just looks like a reboot. But that doesn't explain the Alan Parrish flashback I heard about.

Dwayne claiming as his movie, lol...The steroids have gone to his pea...

Looks ok as a semi kids style thing, the only thing is that Kevin Hart just annoys the hell out of me and he's dead irritating in just the trailer never mind 2hrs..

WTH just happened?! I actually really enjoyed that!

Best Part:
"Why am I running so slow?!"

If it didn't immediately take you back to the Original NES Friday the 13th game and each counselor had different "skills". One counselor was always super slow!

Immediate credibility with that one line. Looks like this film gets it.

@IronGenesis - I liked it too. Even if it's not great it looks like great fun!

looks ok. at least somebody tried some different approach. still i don't think this cast will be equal or better than original Jumanji cast (Williams, Hunt, Dunst)

That... actually wasn't as cringe-y as I thought it was gonna be (at least once they get in the game).

That was enjoyable. The four in the beginning though. They were just bad.

Actually this looks kind of fun, especially if the film is playing off it's talented/likable leads.

It looks funny but it's got The Rock and Kevin Hart so ofcourse it would be. I just like the tone and seriousness of the original, watched it recently and still love it

Mental that it's now a shitty video game though
