Hi Everyone,

I'd like to share some pictures of my recently completed Lair of Solitude! Yes, I know, not very original but it's where my family and I go to watch our favourite CBM's!!!

I apologize for the quality of the photo's. They're taken from a cell phone camera.







This is my basement. If anyone out there has their own "Lair of Solitude" I'd love to see pictures!!

dude my own "lair of solitude" is my bedroom.
and it doesn't nearly have as much memorabilia as yours!
of course, my stuff is mostly Transformers, Marvel Comics volumes, 109 Star Wars books, 14 movie adaptations, and 65 other miscellaneous books.
and i am so jealous of you!

Awesome, I wish my man cave was half as cool, but Mrs. Nero won't let me put up my comic stuff anywhere except my home office, and even then I have to keep it to a minimum because I have clients over to view CAD workups of their plans, so I have to keep it business-like, lol. As free as I can be on the leash I'm given. lol

MAN apart from a couple of posters on the wall, where i am, it looks like a DVD/VIDEO GAMES shop more than a comic shop like your pad!!

Awesome set up, mine is similar.

Not to go on a rant, but you need a home theater set up (to whatever degree) to truly enjoy a movie these days. Going to a theater, I'd rather throw the money down the toilet.

Went to see Iron Man and did my usual formula. Waited it to be out for 2 months, went on a Sunday to the 10 AM show, and the AMC is a stand alone building, not in a mall or shopping center.

Sure enough, there is somebody there talking on their cell phone the entire time. Told them to knock it off, they told me to F off. Went to the manager and he said all's he could do was give me my money back, they could not throw the other person out.

Haven't been back to a theater since.

Have no problem waiting for it to come out on pay perview or DVD and watch it in the comfort of my own home on my big screen.....undisturbed !
