IDW currently has two series with the King of the Monsters: Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters and Godzilla: Gangsters and Goliaths. With these two going, you probably wouldn't expect another series. Well, scratch that. The company responsible for Transformers and G.I. Joe will be doing another mini-series titled Godzilla: Legends.


The series will be based on one-shots, and will have a new creative team with each issue. The famed Matt Frank will be co-writing the first issue with Jeff Prezenkowski.


Frank will also be doing the cover and interior art for the first issue with Bob Eggleton doing the variant.


Currently, there are no plot hints or a release date. The main cover features the King of the Monsters: Godzilla, his pal: Anguirus, and the Devil-like beast: Destoroyah.

If the new movie can come close to the comics that are out, it will be a truly fantastic Godzilla movie. None of that tuna eating iguana!

WWWWHOOOOAAAA!!!!!!! see this is what I was talking about, Make one shot issues with their own creative teams....awesomeness.....can't wait for this....IDW is becoming my favorite third party comic company
