Fassbenders the only who deserves to win the award, but knowing these fake ass award show's it will probably go to one of the bigger names. IMO Gary Oldmans performance Tinkor Tailor Solider Spy was so much better than DiCaprio's & Goslings.

MY take on things:

BEST SCREENPLAY
it's a toss between The Descendants and Moneyball

BEST PICTURE, MUSICAL OR COMEDY
The Artist got the biggest BUZZ

BEST DIRECTOR
Michael Hazanavicius, The Artist, is the dark horse..but, Martin Scorsese, Hugo, may just get the more deserving recognition than the one he got from The Departed.

BEST ACTOR, DRAMA
George Clooney, The Descendants, might surprise everyone
Leonardo DiCaprio, J Edgar, he still looks like Leo attempting to act
Michael Fassbender, Shame, and Ryan Gosling, The Ides of March, both are the most productive working actors this year, hands down...but, none of their works actually stands out as THE one to honor
Brad Pitt, Moneyball, this might be his year

BEST ACTRESS, DRAMA
It's down to Viola Davis, The Help, or Meryl Streep, The Iron Lady, but...
Tilda Swinton, We Need to Talk About Kevin, might be the performance that TRULY deserves the honor
Glenn Close, Albert Nobbs, has she won any award, yet?? fatal attraction..dangerous liaisons..? did any of em won her a major award?? if not, then they might compensate her with this year's awards

BEST ACTOR, COMEDY OR MUSICAL
Jean Dujardin, The Artist, might be this year's Roberto Benigni

BEST ACTRESS, COMEDY OR MUSICAL
Charlize Theron, Young Adult, is the most likely winner
as for Michelle WIlliams, My Week With Marilyn..nobody does Marilyn like..well, Marilyn Monroe

BEST SUPPORTING, ACTOR
Albert Brooks, Drive, he's been getting the early buzz, but, Christopher Plummer, Beginners, might get his career-long honor

BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS
Jessica Chastain , The Help, i like her in this

BEST ANIMATED FEATURE
Rango - the one i like the most this year

BEST FOREIGN FILM
The Skin I Live In (Spain) - it truly deserves it

BEST ORIGINAL SCORE
War Horse - John Williams, my MAN...

BEST ORIGINAL SONG
“Hello, Hello” (Gnomeo and Juliet)
“The Keeper” (Machine Gun Preacher)
“Lay Your Head Down” (Albert Nobbs)
“The Living Proof” (The Help)
