Like I said before, visually, Aquaman would be an amazing movie. As far as a storyline, not so sure. Do you wanna see him battle the Black Manta or whatever the hell his name is lol?!!

You want Captain Marvel's pajamas on the big screen? That sucks.

@Harrison I agree. Captain Marvel has the potential reach a large audience and it has the ability to be a great family film which usually means that it will rake in more money. Have been waiting for captain marvel to appear in a blockbuster film for a while. Thought WB was finally going to make until their concern dropped just like with the Lobo film.

I dont get why so many people are saying Captain Marvel and Green Arrow. now dont get me wrong Im a huge DC fan but Captain Marvel is an exact copy of Superman with a different costume, just not as cool, so if we have Superman who needs Captain Marvel.
And as far as Green Arrow goes hes so corny even for the comics, that little goatee, I mean even the name, and a guy running around shooting arrows dressed as Robin Hood is just lame and impractical, and Im talking about real arrows dont even get me started on his trick arrrows, although Smallville did a decent job it was still corney and it is Smallville.
My pick would definetely be Hawkman, visually he would look amazing with those wings, and the flying, the action would be great with his mace and other ancient weapons combined with his badass attitude and warrior aspect, and his personality is great with his tough no crap attitude, imagine 300 style with the fighting and the machoness of that movie.
Story wise you have two great mythologies to pick from, either the Thangaranian police officer space version, preferably the 3 issue mini series of Hawkworld, now that would be an epic movie. Or the original Eygyptian prince reincarnation thing, both unique and awesome mythologies, or even a mixture of both like Geoff Johns did when he rebooted him.
If not Hawkman then Zatanna simply cuz she is so freakin hot, and a very underrated character,and I like how they portrayed her in the Justice League Heroes video game, costume and personality wise, she NEEDS her own movie, and they could use Serinda Swan whos already played her

I voted for Captain Marvel, but even I'm surprised to see him top the list. Realistic or gritty would be a disaster, but I think it could definitely work as a family (i.e. kids) movie. Dare I say it, we shouldn't forget that these characters were created to appeal to kids, none more so perhaps than Captain Marvel. The transformation from Billy to Cap taps into every boy's desire to be a super hero & if that could be translated to the screen without trying to appeal to the *cough* older fanboy market, then it could be a winner.

The Flash

Unlike the Poll, I'm not taking for granted that it is happening. The Flash has been on/off for the past 15 years.

With the lesser known characters, I think you can only have them in a film if it something like 'Justice League international', or a film version of Identity Crisis. I don't think you can just have a Blue Beetle movie, much as I'd love one.

Wonder Woman DESERVES a big budget motion picture! We get Green Lantern before Wonder Woman? Come on now, really?!

Sigh. (for the 127th time) The Flash has a script, a (probable) director and a green light. It's happening at some point. The idea of this poll was to find a character that people wanted to see that had not been optioned for a movie yet. Wonder Woman is n/a because with the tv show it will be a long time(if ever) we see a movie.

Nunchux, in development does mean something. It means it's in development. And while there are some great characters on your list, there are some awful ones too. Opinions like assholes remember? I couldn't fit everyone on.

Intruder, I'm willing to bed you have never so much as opened a comic featuring a good 80% of the characters you just dismissed as crap. Am I right?

I always thought it would be really cool to gather a few of the B listers and put them into the same film; the watchmen being a perfect example. Characters like The Question, Green Arrow, Black Canery, Huntress, The Atom and have a story that forces these characters together, maybe an evil supervillian or some sort of mystery that needs to be solved.

Great Poll Ror! I personally voted for Green Arrow as I think it has huge potential to be EPIC! Captain Marvel is pretty cool anyway and Teen Titans would also kick ass. Lobo, Suicide Squad and Hawkman could also be cool. For me Aquaman is so lame. A movie would be ok but it would need a re imagining to attract a wide audience a bit like Avatar but underwater. But NO Aquaman for JLA. That would suck majorly.

LOL Aquaman. Honestly though, with all the modernization of movies from their comic book origins, Aquaman will definitely be 1000% more manly if he's ever adapted.

I think Martian Manhunter would be killer if done right. Then a very noir Spectre followed by an angry Aquaman.
