Sounds like a great idea! This from Hollyscoop:

"The Comics Store launches at 5pm GMT in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Ireland was expected to receive the service today as well but "last-minute technical issues" prevented that from happening. It goes live in the US at 3 PM EST according to this tweet from Sony."



The service offers comics from indie publishers and breaks out the big guns of Marvel. Head over PlayStationComics.com to get started!

Damn, jman - you're on a roll today, lol! The main page is dominated by your articles! (great finds by the way!)

I used to have a PSP when they first came out but I sold it because I just didnt get that much use out of it...I kind of wish I had held onto it now that there's been a few GTA games released as well as more recent stuff like LittleBigPlanet...

This news interested me when they first announced it but depending on the reaction (and price) to this service, this might just be the thing that'll convinceme to buy a PSP in the sales after Christmas, lol!

In the meantime, I just hope they release a version on the PS3 somehow! :)

I had a PSP that i used so little that when it stopped working i was just like "Oh well"

I'm kinda on the fence about this. Looks like too much work to view. Like trying to watch a movie through a key hole or through Megan Fox's hole. Actually that might be cavernous.

Anyone catch how much you have to pay per issue? And do you get to keep the file? Doubt it.

The negatives out weigh the positives for things like this, being able to download things are cool and all, but in the end it’s just not worth the headache. Why buy something you can't touch, that’s like paying for phone sex. In the end you just wasted $5 dollars a min and you got to clean up the mess.
