2011 has been a great year for superhero movies...well, mostly. We kicked the year off with The Green Hornet and followed it up with hits from Marvel in the form of THOR, X-Men: First Class and Captain America: The First Avenger. Oh, and there was Green Lantern from DC as well. The question I asked you was which of these superhero adaptations was the best in your opinion? Who was brought to the big screen in the best possible way imaginable, and which of these can you not wait to watch all over again (if you haven't already) at home? Well, here are the results in full, and be sure to share your thoughts on them in the usual place!
Please not that other comic book movies such as Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Cowboys & Aliens were not included in the poll as they're not "superhero" movies. Keep an eye out for that poll sometime later this year!
Quite the majority, eh? Personally, I agree with these results 100% (although I would be tempted to switch
Green Lantern and
The Green Hornet) and despite loving
X-Men: First Class,
Captain America: The First Avenger was just more fun for me.
THOR meanwhile was near enough just as good, and there's no doubting that this has been a great year for us comic book fans! Bring on 2012!!!
