And thus the siege of Asgard has begun. The first issue of this event comic pulls no punches and goes right to it. The comic begins with Volstagg causing the chain reaction allowing Norman to seize the chance of invading Asgard by saying it's payback for Volstagg's incident. Loki seems to playing on both angles in this event, so I can't wait for to see how it will progress out.
I'm not gonna spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it.
The art is good and the action is well paced, my grade for this is an 8/10.
Next is Siege: Embedded #1. This is a parallel story that takes place at the same time with the events of Siege #1. It follows Urich and a fellow reporter trying to topple Osborn's power.
They meet up with Volstagg, in what is the funniest parts of any comic I read, Volstagg despite what he did is so calm and friendly to these new friends. The comic has a good TBC ending.
No real action, mostly exposition but good exposition and the artwork is well done. 8/10
