First up we have the brand new teaser for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. I know you guys have been anticipating this one more than any CBM so try to contain yourselves. Via SFX

Next, here is a behind the scenes vid from Sly Stallone's Expendables sequel courtesy of Movieweb. It features a cameo appearance from Wimbledon Champion Novak Djokovic and well, just watch. I think I preferred the Twilight trailer..

Yes, Djokovic will be taking out the bad guys in the movie with his trusty..tennis racket. Because he's, y'know, a tennis player. Moving swiftly along, we have news of two young actresses who may take the role of Carrie in Kimberly Peirce's remake of Brian Depalma's classic adaptation of the novel by Steven King. According to Vulture..

We're told the field has narrowed to two main contenders: the 15-year-old Chloë Moretz (Kick-Ass) and the 24-year-old Haley Bennett, who is starring with Ryan Gosling in Terrence Malick's next project, Lawless.

The site also says that MGM have approached both Jodie Foster and Julianne Moore for the role of Carrie's unhinged fundamentalist mother, played brilliantly by Piper Laurie in the original.

Here is a new tv spot for the new Guy Pearce sci-fi flick Lockout, which looks either absolutely ridiculous, or totally brilliant. I haven't made my mind up yet..

And finally, it seems that Warner Bros. control over the Superman franchise may be in jeopardy as their intense legal battle with Jerry Siegal's estate over ownership of rights to the character goes to court today. For the full, detailed story head on over to THR

Bjd, yeah sorry, just saw that. I've been working on this article for a while before I posted, I included the Carrie news because it isn't really worthy of featuring on its own as it's not CBM related, hence it's here in small print.

Is a Carrie remake necessary? Oh, that's right we are dealing with Hollywood. The Place where original idea's go to die.

I love Guy Pearce with every fibre of my being, so I've been down with Lockout from the get-go.

Can't wait.

I freaking HATE TWILIGHT with a passion, but I'm usually the last person in the posts and I wanted people's opinion on a certain thing: Is it just me, or does Chris Claremont look like Captain Crunch???

Gotta ask: why would you use a picture from the American remake of the movie "Let the Right One In" when "Hitgirl" is in the title? (Nothing against Chloë Grace Moretz, I just can't stand that movie) They can show nudity, it's not sexually-oriented. If I was a fan of the actress, I'd be opposed to it, considering wow, that's pretty early to be exposing yourself to the world in your career, but to each their own.

I used to love Luc Besson's movies. Leon and Nikita will always be among my favorites. Now it just looks like the same movie, over and over again, just different setting, and occasionally a different gender. Lockout looks incredibly lame.

@PatientZero @TheIncredibleHulk
If you guys think 15 year old girls aren't able to menstruate, well then you have a lot to learn about life.
Girls usually start their "cycle" at age 12, a girl starting later than 15 is EXTREMELY uncommon..
I mean how do you think they are able to get pregnant at that age, Magic??? DUH!!!

Carrie isn't much older than 15 in the original if I remember. It was acceptable then. It seems very ass backwards that something that was accepted in the 70's is being considered to be too taboo now...

He Patient asshat, reporting me for nothing is only gonna get you more negative attention. To answer your "question", Small Print is where we cover stuff that normally wouldn't be featured on the site which is why Twilight is here.

I wonder if Chloe will proclaim a reboot of Carrie "revolutionary" like she did w/ Burton's Dark Shadows redo. What a dope. I eagerly await her obscurity. And let's spell StePHen King properly. He's only a national treasure.

@PatientZer0
"Prom is generally for juniors and seniors. So having an actual 15 year old play Carrie would be dumb"
First you say that 15 year old girls don't get their period, then you say this???
Where the hell do you get all your information??
Are you like 10 years old or are you just daft??
There are a such thing as 15 year old juniors in high school, I graduated high school at 17and was already taking college classes, one kid in my class graduated at 16, but also if you don't remember Carrie was INVITED to prom as a joke by Tommy Ross. You can be INVITED to prom even if you're a freshman, or out of school.
Not to be mean, but you obviously have no [frick]ing clue what you're talking about, so please save us from your horribly misinformed rants.

Your post says exactly this... "How would they do the period scene with a 15 year old?"
Or did you forget what you wrote? Also if I were you I would stop reporting people for no reason, that is a good way to get banned..

Thats funny... A duplicate Post by an editor that came in later and its "I have been working on this along time so I am going to leave it"....

LOL

Also, "Its not really CBM related and not worthy of featuring on its own"!?!?!?!? Are you kidding?

You know how much NON CBM related news is produced as stand alone articles by Editors!?!?!?

Do you even read any material produced by your colleagues
