I don't think the last one was pointless at all. News is news, we gotta post it as we find it.

I only know what the trailer and a brief synopsis tells me too..does look great though. Then again, so did Van Helsing!

Van Helsing NEVER looked good, but that's just me...

This actor looks like Christopher Lambert, of Highlander fame. Funny, I didn't think so in the first Resident Evil film...

Glad they didn't put him in the "pilgrim" costume, too.

Kane was created by Robert Howard. Who also created Conan. He is credited with helping to started the whole sword-and-sorcery genre. He was only 22 years old when he created Kane. He died at the age of 30. He was very busy write to have published the amount of stories and books that he did in his short life.

Regardless of the shit people gave Sommers, I loved Van Helsing. I got to say though, this trailer has really impressed me. I'm not exceedingly familiar with the source material, but I've got warm and fuzzies about this movie.

I think it's gonna be a lot better than Van Helsing for sure. Though the budget doesn't look large it looks like they casted well and got what they could for their money.

Have never read this, but this trailer has me pretty fired up! The atmosphere and set design is phenomenal from what is shown. What it will then rely on is story and acting. I'm not familiar with any of the stories, but I hope this has nothing to do with a kidnapped child of some sort as I find those to be rather lame. The primary qualm I have is that the character's costume is similar to Van Helsing's. I'm not saying Van Helsing invented that way to dress, but I feel that they are too comparable. To me this has the look and feel of a new Van Helsing with better enemies. Here's to hoping the combat is great. I'll say it again though; the visuals are wonderful.

@bropous: There is no confirmed US release dates. Right now the only known official release in English is for Canada. They are still working to find a distributor for the US...
