How appropriate that these two be revealed at the same time, the mighty God of Thunder Thor and The mighty goddess of the Sun Amaterasu join the fray of Marvel vs Capcom 3. As well we now know that Super Skrull, Dr.Doom , Trish and Chun Li have also joined the cast of fighters this morning. Which can be seen here http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/joshw24/news/?a=20319 However I will add on some facts that I Have been looking over since New builds of the game showed up at Evolution 2k10 fighting game tournament down in Las Vegas.(information available on eventhubs.com as well) The new types of additional advantages seen in the Evolution 2k10 build was; -The characters now have special attacks activated by pushing down + three attack buttons Each character has their own unique sets of moves that can be created using this such as wolverine getting a speed boost or Chris redfield laying on the ground and shooting bullets -X factor , the ability to super power your remaining single character , after your team has been defeated ,can now be activated any time during the match and will carry over to all three characters at once. This will also rely on a timer. -There may be counters in place, but this has not been verified and is just speculation. -Level 3 supers as seen in the newest trailer make their brand new Marvel Vs Capcom debut having previously been shown in Tatsunoko vs Capcom -Assists are now used by pressing duel attack buttons much like old mvc. They also seem to come out slower then in Mvc2 -Hyper combos(supers) are also free flowing in the sense that if you preform a double team hyper combo and one person on your team finishes their hyper combo first you can then move your character around after. images courtesy of Kotaku.
