The Top 5 Best Comic Book Villains.

In my opinion, these are the top five best CB villains.

You can't have a hero without a villain. Here are my choices for best CB villains.


5. OwlMan



I never really cared much for OwlMan. Until I saw Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. This guy had a plan: destroy the whole DC universe. He is basically and evil BatMan, and that already earns a spot in the top five.


4. Ultron


Ultron is arguably the strongest and smartest Avengers villain. His sole purpose is to take over the world and replace the human race with machines. It is revealed in the animated movie Next Avengers, Ultron destroyed Earth's Mightiest Heroes. That is an automatic in the top five.


3. The Shredder


The 2003 TMNT series brings an evil, powerful Shredder. He is merciless and is a master of martial arts. In an alternate future, he took over the world.


2. Venom


Venom is the nightmarish opposite of SpiderMan. A monstrous being, he took over New York in SpiderMan Web of Shadows.

And number 1 is.....




1. LaserMan


LaserMan is the sole definition of a villain. He is a leader, feared by everyone, cunning, calculating, and one of the most powerful villains of all time. He earns the number one spot.



And those are my choices.

@Anil Rickly Loki is good, but he always fails miserably. Joker is good, but doesn't make my top five. Doom is good, but he doesn't cut it.

i think its funny and a little stupid that you call this article your Top 5 COMIC BOOK Villains, yet your reasoning for picking them are all things that happened in animated movies and a video game.

do you realize that the comic versions are way different? it makes me wonder if you would have picked these jobbers (with the exception of Ultron) if you had actually read comics with them? lol

especially considering that Shredder wasn't a main villain in the TMNT comics back in the day. he appeared in the 2nd issue i think, and then wasn't seen again. he's only their major villain in the animated shows.

The shredder was the main villain in te the first issues of the TMNT and yes you are right he wasnt seen again in many issues but that was because he was kill but then he come back and make the turtles fear him the most thats why he is the main villain in the TMNT.

@CorndogBurglar There was a TMNT comic book adaption of the 2003 series. Next Avengers is COMIC BOOK CANON. It is revealed in Avengers 1 that that movie is part of the comics. I'm just saying where these characters looked best. And I have read comics with all these guys. Otherwise, they wouldn't have made it.

who are you to tell me to watch it??? clearly i don't know anything about him, how long did it take you to figure that one out sizzle britches??? the fact that i know nothing about him, pertains to my amazement as to why the hell you have him as your #1, when you have villains like magneto, the joker, and loki.

@Jaryd Polsen That's just my point. Magneto, Joker, and Loki are well-known and popular villains. But for lesser-known villains, such as LaserMan, you bash him because you don't know anything about him. I'm saying before you commented, you should have done some research before you bashed him. SECOND OF ALL. Loki is weak when fought up close, Magneto is not really evil, and has become a good guy a couple of times. Joker is good, but LaserMan is tougher, stronger, and is a leader.

SECOND OF ALL. i guess you haven't seen The Dark Knight or read any of The Joker's graphic novels because he shits on your little Laser Man. He looks like a garbage truck for God's sake. I hope Heath Ledger rises from the dead, douses himself in The Joker's makeup, finds you, and asks you if you know how he got his scars.

@Jaryd Polson I have seen The Dark Knight. And look, YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT LASERMAN. So, you can't say he's weak just because you don't know him. LaserMan almost took over the world. Can Joker do that? LaserMan is the King of the Darkloids. Not much else to say but....LASERMAN IS NUMBER ONE ON MY LIST. If you KNEW anything about him, you might actually agree. But since Joker is so popular, and LaserMan is not, you think he can beat him without even thinking things through. Final words. LaserMan can beat any clown.

@SUPERBATSPIDERMAN Glad you asked. LaserMan is not very well-known. LaserMan is a villain from the MegaMan franchise. He first appeared in the game, MegaMan Battle Network 4. And then he appeared in the anime, MegaMan Axess. And last but not least, he appeared in the MegaMan NT Warrior manga. Here is a full picture of him.
