"I feel, when you collaborate with talented people, they inspire you. I would hope that you spark them also. And I find that working with people whom you respect, and who are as eager as you to do things that will excite an audience, that's just the best way to go. I've been so lucky that I have found and worked with that caliber of people," says Stan.

The man is a legend and I wish he's return to writing comic books more often. His and Marcos Martin's two page back-up story in Amazing Spider-Man has been great fun!

Superheromoviefan, I get what your saying, but there isn't anything wrong with him being enthusiastic about it all. No offense intended, but as you say you 'hate' companies, yet I'm sure you have some appreciation for at least the one that puts out the comics you enjoy so much ;) Nuthin' wrong with "The Man" being positive about his life's work.

Awesome interview. I really enjoyed the part regarding how he came up with "Excelsior" I never knew.

@ superheromoviefan: how can yo hate companies? with companies you would have no comic book movies to be a fan of or comic books at dumbass, not to mention your clothes or the computer you're pumping your inane babbling into.

and can we get these stupid [frick]ing ads removed from the comments?
