What will happen in the Amazing Spide-rman 2 which will open on May 2, 2014? As filming is under way we have seen set photos and some actual footage of some scenes being shot.It's still early in production and we will probably see more stuff to connect the dots and come to our on conclusions.This is my take on the overall story.

The film revolves around Norman Osborn and Oscorp. Norman is a major character in the movie as well as the story of him being connected to Peter Parker and his parents.Everything revolving around Oscorp, Peter frequently visits Oscorp as an intern and works with Norman Osborn and brainstorms on projects. Norman, not telling Peter everything,still sees great potential in Peter and they grow closer. This does not sit well with Harry Osborn who was a childhood friend of Peter's when Norman was close to the Parkers in the past. Jamie Foxx/Electro and Paul Giamatti/Rhino are experiments of Oscorp that Norman tries to keep under wraps.

Also Norman makes frequent visits to Curt Connors/the Lizard through messengers to keep him silent, or there will be consequences on his family.That being said I think Norman Osborn is a major boss in this movie and Jamie Foxx/Electro has a major supporting role, as Paul Giamatti has a strong minor role. The Daily Bugle is in this movie and J.Jonah Jameson. Needing pictues for his editiorials on Spide-rman he hires Peter Parker as a freelance photographer to get cutting edge pictures that he needs.

Wilson Fisk will be a beloved philanthropist in this movie, and the Kingpin in the shadows. Felicity Jones will play Felicia Hardy and is interested in finding out who killed her father the great cat-burgular Walter Hardy. Harry, MJ, and Gwen will bring the relationship drama as well as the human interaction and chemistry. With alot of action and adventure and off- the- wall spidey action.We should be in for a treat.

I could definitely see Jameson being the greedy boss he is and complaining that every good photographer is way too pricy and decides to hire Parker only because he is cheaper.

That's a lot going on. I hope it won't be that crowded, à la Spider-Man 3.

@ToTheManInTheColdSweat Refer to Spider-Man (2002)

Chris Cooper should've been JJJ, Colm Feore should've been Osborn
Forgetting that, I can see most if not all of this happening, I thought TASM was on par with Green Lantern, with only a minute amount of good qualities, but have to admit this sequel has my interest...

@TheWallCrawlingMeance

You didn't like the 1st Raimi Spider-Man? It's probably not the best Spider-Man in the old trilogy, objectively. However, to me, it still delivered a wonderful sense of imagination and adrenaline while still maintaining the realistic struggles of the person beneath the mask. I believe it was the most balanced and I kind of liked that approach.

Oh and I'm pretty confident that this will be a good movie :)

I highly doubt Fisk will be in this movie. It would be nice and interesting to see, but I doubt they'd put him in this film. They've already started filming and it doesn't seem like there are any other major roles left to be cast.

I hope the reason Jamie Foxx becomes Electro is because he is working on the destruction at the top of the Oscorp tower, and is struck by lightning working with some cables or something like that, but thats something someone else made and I really liked his idea.

Jamie foxx already gave some info about electro. Supposedly he is an engineer for Oscorp and he never gets the respect he deserves, he becomes spidermans friend on the street, " his eyes and ears", fox goes onto say something like " and then a series of unfortunate events take place" so he takes revenge against the world. So I think the first half is all about rhino and electro becomes a villian in the second half.

I bet the FBI agents are in it becasue they're investigating Oscorp for illegal human testing. That's probably what puts Norman on edge becasue he wants to test it on other people so he can cure himself without worry. Thus the green goblin

You seriously need to give up on Kingpin being in these movies. Is he your favorite villain or something? Cause you seem obsessed with him and putting him in a Spider-Man movie when he's more of a DareDevil villain. Not trying to be rude but, it's a bit annoying.

@Lizard1 actually, Kingpin (in terms of movie rights) is a Spider-Man villain, and the rights were loaned to Fox by Sony for the Daredevil movie. So Kingpin could appear in these movies, if Sony wanted him to.
Having said that, I see no reason why he'd be in these movies. I think there's already enough going on.
