So, all of us have had many discussions about the costumes or uniforms that have been portrayed in the various comic book movies through out the years. Some agree with how they were, others have down-right conniption fits over them.
I came across this photo album over at Yahoo.com, where a couple fashion folks took a closer look at some past super villains from various CBM's. It's actually pretty funny how they have graded them.
I'll give you just a few of their critiques, but it's worth taking a look at the entire gallery.
Bullseye
Daredevil
Grade: F
Daredevil's costume is far from original, but his enemy's duds are downright cheesy. How can a baddie be taken seriously when he's decked out in lace-up leather pants, a matching trench coat, steel-toe boots, an Ed Hardy-esque belt buckle, and excessive man jewelry?
MYSTIQUE
X-Men: The Last Stand
Grade: A+
The sexy shapeshifter's motto must be "less is more," and we don't disagree. Her au naturel look is definitely fashion-forward
KARL RUPRECHT KROENEN
Hellboy
Grade: A-
Faceless Nazis haven't been this scary since the end of "Raiders of the Lost Ark," nor have they been this stylish.
WHIPLASH
Iron Man 2
Grade: A
Tony Stark's arch nemesis is a trendsetter. His techno-gladiator getup is tres chic, his multi-colored mane is dirty hot, and he boasts this summer's must-have accessories: cybernetically-controlled titanium whips.
Take a look at the link below to see how they graded the likes of Joker (Heath Ledger), Poison Ivy, Doc Ock, Dr. Doom and more!
