Frank Marshall Strongly Suggests B.D. Wong Will Return For The JURASSIC WORLD Sequel

It looks like Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard won't be the only Jurassic World cast members to return for the upcoming sequel, as a new report claims B.D. Wong will be joining them come 2018.

We've known for quite some time that both Chris Pratt (Passengers) and Bryce Dallas Howard (Black Mirror) would return for a second go-round with the prehistoric beasts in the 2018 sequel to their mega-blockbuster Jurassic World. We were still awaiting word on any other returning cast members, but after Jake Johnson (The Mummy) revealed last month he was unlikely to reprise his scene-stealing role as Lowery, it did seem for a moment that Pratt & Howard might be the only two familiar faces making their way back, as the story begins to shift away from the actual theme park. However, according to a new interview, that no longer seems to be the case.

When asked by Cinema Blend whether or not B.D. Wong (Jurassic Park; Gotham) would return as the twisted geneticist Dr. Henry Wu for the upcoming sequel, executive producer Frank Marshall coyly replied: "When they take off in helicopters, you know they're probably going to come back." It's not exactly a confirmation, but it's pretty close, and considering Wu was the only baddie left when Jurassic World came to a close, it was always more likely than not that he'd be back in some capacity.

J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) is helming the sequel with a script from the writing duo of Colin Trevorrow & Derek Connolly. In addition to Pratt, Howard, and possibly Wong, the film has already cast Toby Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger) and Rafe Spall (Life of Pi) in key roles.

So, what do you guys think? Who else would you like to see return from the original trilogy? Sound off with your thoughts below!
