Though it was released internationally and subsequently removed from YouTube earlier this month (as reported by CBM user
Christi Marin), Warner Bros. has officially released its second short prequel for
BLADE RUNNER 2049.
Luke Scott, the son of original
BLADE RUNNER mastermind Ridley Scott, directs the short that introduces audiences to Sapper Morton. Morton, played by Dave Bautista (
Guardians of the Galaxy) is a tough-as-nails scavenger uncovering and selling peculiar items in 2048 Los Angeles. Later, however, it is revealed that Morton is a replicant that you just do not want to cross.

BLADE RUNNER 2048: NOWHERE TO RUN is a beautifully shot snippet of life since 2019.
BLADE RUNNER 2049 hits theaters on October 6th.
