Though it was released internationally and subsequently removed from YouTube earlier this month (as reported by CBM user Christi Marin), Warner Bros. has officially released its second short prequel for BLADE RUNNER 2049

Luke Scott, the son of original BLADE RUNNER mastermind Ridley Scott, directs the short that introduces audiences to Sapper Morton. Morton, played by Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) is a tough-as-nails scavenger uncovering and selling peculiar items in 2048 Los Angeles. Later, however, it is revealed that Morton is a replicant that you just do not want to cross.

With a short introduction by BLADE RUNNER 2049 director Denis Villeneuve, BLADE RUNNER 2048: NOWHERE TO RUN is a beautifully shot snippet of life since 2019.

BLADE RUNNER 2049 hits theaters on October 6th.

Bautista has really turned into a fine actor. I've enjoyed every character he's portrayed on the big screen

@L0RDbuckethead - I was thinking of the same thing during the clip. It's rare to see a wrestler turned actor actually make believable reactions, and despite his size, he made himself feel very vulnerable at first. He did an awesome job.

@L0RDbuckethead @Benjamitesandwich - It's true, and his performances have really improved since his first attempt at it.
