The upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly takes us onto the set and into the editing suite of Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, wherein the magazine discusses the film with its director and stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain. A snippet of the feature from the issue contains some new details from the Dark Knight trilogy director, discussing the attempt to create a real connection with movie-goers. "This is the first film I have made where the actual experience of the film is paramount to the audience," he explained. "You would think that's the case with Batman movies but it's not; they're more dependent on the reaction of characters on screen. Interstellar is different. It harkens back to the direct experience films of 2001: [A Space Odyssey], where you're not just experiencing it through the characters, you are lost in it." There will be plenty more inside Entertainment Weekly #1334 when it goes on sale this Friday. Interstellar hits theatres November 5th, 2014.

Still can't seem to get excited about this movie. Sure it will do well at the box office though.

That's cool. I mean it will probably satisfy those seeking a modern remake of 2001 while keeping it different, fresh and original

This movie takes place not too far from our present time. Earth is running out of food, the government is dissolved, nasa is no longer existent. This is a manned mission between geniuses that have one chance of finding another habitable planet for the remaining people on earth. Hold on to your butts lol

Can't seem to get interested in this. It looks like gravity which for all it's praise I still couldn't get interested.

The Cards never know when to die. I'll never count them out until the Giants actually finish them off.

Can't wait to see Nolan's smart version of Gravity.

Seriously, I still don't get what people see in that movie. It looks great, it has a lot of technical achievements to be commended, but the story is terrible. Sandra Bullock's moans and George Clooney being himself don't help.

Nice job making three very attractive movie stars look weird. Well done, Entertainment Weekly, well done.
