Live. Die. Repeat.

With each passing day, it seems like we're starting to hear more and more about a potential sequel to Doug Liman's critically acclaimed Edge Of Tomorrow, which starred Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt in the leads.

In a recent interview with Uproxx, while promoting her upcoming release Sicario, star Emily Blunt shared her thoughts on the subject matter and while, she initially claims that she hadn't heard Cruise's idea for the potential sequel yet, she does say she would certainly be interested in returning as Rita Vrataski if the idea is as great as Chris McQuarrie (Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation) said it was: "I would for sure! But the idea would have to be good; it would just have to be a great idea. I don’t want to dilute how great the first one is with a second one that’s not as good. I’m terrified of sequels, to be honest with you."

She makes a great point, the first one was one of the more original and more beloved blockbusters in recent memory, does anyone really want to see the first film's reputation tarnished by a less-than-stellar sequel? Probably not.

Later, in a separate interview with MTV Movies, Blunt admits that she actually has heard Cruise's "seedling of an idea" for the Edge sequel and then, without revealing any more about what the idea could be, she plays it off as Cruise just shooting her an e-mail to gauge her interest level and whether she would be in for the sequel, which as stated above, she is.

Check out her replies to the Captain Marvel question and how much she knows about the Edge Of Tomorrow sequel in the video below:

So, what do you guys think? Would you be in for a potential Edge Of Tomorrow sequel? And what do you think about her Captain Marvel responses? Is she being truthful or is she hiding something? Sound off with your thoughts below!

Oscar nominee Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt star in Warner Bros. Pictures' and Village Roadshow Pictures' sci-fi thriller "Edge of Tomorrow," under the direction of Doug Liman. The epic action of "Edge of Tomorrow" unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world.

Major William Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop—forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again…and again. But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt). And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.

Edge of Tomorrow features:
Director: Doug Liman
Tom Cruise as Lt. Col. William "Bill" Cage
Emily Blunt as Sergeant Rita Rose Vrataski
Bill Paxton as Master Sergeant Farrell
Brendan Gleeson as General Brigham
Kick Gurry as Griff
Dragomir Mrsic as Kuntz
Charlotte Riley as Nance
Jonas Armstrong as Skinner
Franz Drameh as Ford
Masayoshi Haneda as Takeda
Tony Way as Kimmel
Noah Taylor as Dr. Carter

Edge Of Tomorrow is out on Blu-ray/DVD NOW!

It only made twice its budget at the box office, which it should have made more except for a bad advertising campaign. It was however a great movie.

I don't think she should do Captain Marvel. Marvel Studio's cookie cutter approach will limit her abilities to portray the character, gosh even any actress will have a difficult time with this part.

I don't think they'll begin casting before they find a director. I honestly think they won't begin casting until early 2016. They probably won't begin pre-production until late 2016. I think she's be telling the truth; Marvel probably didn't being the process of getting actors just yet. The movie is over 3 years away.

I personally would prefer her to be Carol Ferris over the other Carol. I believe she'd make an amazing Star Sappire and it would be cool to see her running the Ferris Aircraft company. As for Edge of Tomorrow 2 I'd be down for that and I'm happy to hear she doesn't want to just rush it, but wait until a really great idea comes along.
