Doug Liman's Edge of Tomorrow, which starred superstar Tom Cruise & Emily Blunt in the lead roles, was hands-down one of the best films of the summer. It may have stumbled out of the gates at the box office, but it picked itself up and proved to be quite a sleeper hit with a worldwide gross of over $369M.

With the film arriving on Blu-ray/DVD next Tuesday (10/7), a few special features from the release have been released early, including a brand new featurette, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, where we're given a behind-the-scenes look at the opening sequence when Tom Cruise's character lands in Trafalgar Square. This was the first time in history anyone has been given permission to first shut down and then land a helicopter in one of London's most popular tourist attractions. I guess being one of the world's biggest movie stars has its perks! Check it out below!

Also, thanks to HeyUGuys, a brand new deleted scene has also been released featuring a scene from the final battle as Bill Cage looks to regroup with Rita Vrataski and his J Squad. Check that scene out below and don't forget to pick up Edge of Tomorrow on Blu-ray/DVD next Tuesday!

Oscar nominee Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt star in Warner Bros. Pictures' and Village Roadshow Pictures' sci-fi thriller "Edge of Tomorrow," under the direction of Doug Liman. The epic action of "Edge of Tomorrow" unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world.

Major William Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop—forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again…and again. But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt). And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.

Edge of Tomorrow features:
Director: Doug Liman
Tom Cruise as Lt. Col. William "Bill" Cage
Emily Blunt as Rita Vrataski
Bill Paxton as General Farrell Bartolome
Jeremy Piven as Col. Walter Marx
Brendan Gleeson as General Brigham
Lara Pulver as Karen Lord
Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Dr. Whittle
Jonas Armstrong as Skinner
Kick Gurry as Griff
Kidus Henok as Lewis
Tony Way as Kimmel
Madeleine Mantock as Julie
Dragomir Mrsic as Kuntz
Charlotte Riley as Nance
Franz Drameh as Ford

Edge of Tomorrow hits Blu-ray/DVD October 7, 2014.

*Spoiler Alert*

The great thing about the ending is that he can sleep with Emily Blunt, f*ck her brains out....and blow his brains out afterwards. BAM! Not weird the next morning. Go on with his life. No drama.

good movie. But for some reason it just doesn't resonate w/ me. I can't stay attentive to it for the life of me...

I've had it for the past few weeks and I've watched it multiple times and I STILL can't remember the ending...I get attention fatigue at about the Trailer Park scene...everything after that I guess I just subliminally fill in the gaps w/ your standard Time Travel movie fair.

I will say that it is better than I thought it'd be...Plus there's always Bill Paxson who is ALWAYS good for an epic sound bite.

"Tip of the spear!...Edge of the knife!...Crack o' my ass!" Thanks Bill!
