First Teaser For RIDDICK Hits

Vin Diesel has posted a first brief look at the follow up to The Chronicles Of Riddick to his Facebook page. There's not much, but we do get a glimpse at some exciting action and interesting looking creatures. Check out the teaser for Riddick after the jump.

The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he's encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.

The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won't leave the planet without Riddick's head as their trophy.


Riddick also stars Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk and Keri Hilson, and is set to hit theaters September 6th, 2013.

good to see that the movie's looking more like pitch black than the chronicles or riddick. Also Drax will be in this movie, just letting people know

I loved the first, the second was pretty good too, I enjoyed the story, the xbox game was pretty good, this should be good, but damn we need more than 22 seconds

This looks excellent. I see there are plenty of haters, but I'm expecting this to be a solid flick. Better than the first two in fact. I enjoyed the first flick, didn't mind the second one, but this third one is looking better and better the more I see of it. I'm expecting it to fly over a lot of peoples' heads like Dredd did last year, but hopefully that isn't so. The only thing I hope is that it's R-rated, I didn't really like the PG-13 rating for the last one. Just didn't feel right, should have been R for sure.

Loved Pitch Black, and the escape from Butchers Bay video game.. The sequel Chronicles of Riddick not so much.This movie for sure has potential, and it helps that Vin Diesel cares about the character.
