First Trailer For Edgar Wright's Sci-Fi Comedy THE WORLD'S END

Wright will tackle Ant-Man next, but for now check out the trailer for the final movie in his "three flavors Cornetto trilogy"; a pretty mental looking sci-fi comedy starring and co-written by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost..

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

The World’s End also stars Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan, and Rosamund Pike and will be released in the UK on 19th July, and in the US on August 23rd.

Martin Freeman's delivery after he exits the doorway:

"What do we do?"

"Finish our drinks."

Hilarious!

Troll toll is steep for this one boys.., better pay up in advance. Don't even think about trashing the Frost/Pegg/Wright. If you do so.., you may just get a thumb out of the mouth pointed in your very direction. Yes you.., looking at me like I sold Robert Pattison a Stella at a Reds game.

Cannot wait for this, a lot of this was filmed where I live. Saw them on set on a few occasions talking whilst in town meeting and greeting with the locals. Both Pegg and Frost have been back recently to host a screening of Hot Fuzz with a Q&A.

Good to see they have included a fence jumping scene to keep in with the other two films

be careful Tea. Stiller made a little "d!ck & poopie" movie called "There's Something About Curly." Most thorough and accurate "Stooges" doc I've ever seen.

I'm not worried about your matrix there Jon Matrix.., just be careful. :-P

Love these guys.
Spaced is one of my all time favourite series up there with Father Ted.
Shaun of the Dead was pure comedy gold and never turn down a viewing when I see it on ITV2 (which is pretty frequent) same goes for Hot Fuzz , wasn't too fond on the first viewing but have grown to love it.
Paul on the other hand was a let down.

Lol! There is nothing like a brightly lit sitcom set being used to stage Chuck Norris butt kickery. That's all Norris can do.., come on. He doesn't kick a$$, he kicks butt! :P

Not a fan of Paul. Seemed regurgitated and a little too late. Not terrible.., just not really good. Reminded me of Pick of Destiny in comparison to the HBO show that I did not miss one episode. They used to put Mr. Show on Mondays in the early morning?! Huh? Odenkirk: Breaking Bad. Cross: Arrested Development. I'm just glad they still get work. Seeing them pop up in something is similar to when you'd get Bruce McCullough or Mark McKinney in something after KITH ended. Hell Foley I think has had the most success since the show ended.

Hot Fuzz IS FAR FAR Superior to Shaun. Have no idea what some of you are even on. Shaun is great too, but Hot Fuzz IS the funniest movie of all time imo.

I've seen Hot Fuzz 5 times, and I know I still haven't gotten all the jokes.

This looks fantastic. Pure humor gold.
