GHOSTBUSTERS 3: Emma Stone Out; Jonah Hill Still Undecided

Here we have an update on the movie nobody actually believes will happen. According to The Schmoes' "Phantom" scooper, Emma Stone has passed on her role, but Jonah Hill still has an offer. What's more, the studio apparently won't move ahead without a couple of big names.

The Schmoes' scooper "The Phantom" is back with an update on the progress of the Ghostbusters threequel, and there's more bad news for the already very troubled flick. It seems Emma Stone has passed on the role of “Anna” and although Jonah Hill still has an offer out for “Jeremy”, word is that without at least two big name stars locked in Sony will not green light the picture. So if Hill also passes it will NOT bode well for this movie to ever see the light of day unless two suitably starry replacements scan be found sharpish. More at the link below.

I know I'm the only one but I'd like to see a remake not a reboot with Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum two duo's that work well and are actually fun to watch.

As much of a Ghostbuster fan as I am, I would rather not see it made than have that fat talentless turd star in it.

@Mrcool "The Phantom" was the same scooper who gave them the absolutely legit "Terminator" shortlists before sites like Variety and Deadline jumped on board with the same candidates.

He's also the same scooper who was among the first to reveal that Wonder Woman was one of the female roles that actresses were vying for in Batman vs. Superman.

So I, the guy who always shits on rumors and those who post them, am ready to believe him.

If they do this, it should be based off of the last cartoon series. One of the originals was teaching and training college students as the new busters

Damn, GB3 keeps running into problems. As much as I would like to see a Ghostbusters sequel, it's hard to get excited for it without Bill Murray on board.
