Chris Pratt Makes A Cute Little Friend In The First Official Footage From JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM

While it's been rumored for several months now that the first teaser trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom would debut with Lucasfilm's Star Wars: The Last Jedi, it appears as though that has now more or less been confirmed as producer/writer Colin Trevorrow has just released a brief piece of footage from the upcoming J.A. Bayona-helmed blockbuster, which seems to indicate that a trailer is just around the corner.

The barely six-second trailer teaser features Chris Pratt as Owen Grady, sharing a sweet moment with a baby Velociraptor, that may or may not be the offspring of his old friend, Blue, or actually, it may in fact be Blue, herself, as we may be seeing a flashback to when Grady initially began training her. Regardless, of who it is, based on Pratt's interaction with the dinosaur actor, it looks like the baby dino will indeed be a practical effect, which should be exciting news for fans of the 1993 classic.

Check out the brief sneak peek below:

With all of the wonder, adventure and thrills synonymous with one of the most popular and successful franchises in cinema history, this all-new motion-picture event sees the return of favorite characters and dinosaurs—along with new breeds more awe-inspiring and terrifying than ever before. Welcome to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom features:
Director: J.A. Bayona
Chris Pratt as Owen Grady
Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing
B.D. Wong as Dr. Henry Wu
Toby Jones in an undisclosed role
Rafe Spall as Eli Mills
Justice Smith in an undisclosed role
Daniella Pineda in an undisclosed role
Ted Levine in an undisclosed role
James Cromwell as Benjamin Lockwood
Geraldine Chaplin in an undisclosed role
Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will roar into theaters June 22

Can't tell if that's unfinished cgi but a thing like that being so small would it not be better to make it practical and add some tiny bit of cgi to it

@HelloAlien - Yeah it really should be practical, especially since J.A Bayona said he's going to use ass many practical effects as he can since the cgi was one of the main negative points of the last one. Hopefully he sees that through and this is just one of the few cgi moments

I'm really sad that Goldblum won't be in this too much, but I'm still really excited for this movie. Hopefully Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neill for the next one, in solid roles. I'd love to see their reactions to all this

I thought Jurassic World was a bit overrated but it was a good time. Bayona wants to direct Man of Steel 2 so I hope this does well and he gets the gig.

Also why was Colin Trevorrow replaced for Episode 9?

That's definitely CGI. Good CGI though. But there was definitely some sort of physical thing for Chris to interact with.
