IRON MAN 3's Ty Simpkins Joins JURASSIC WORLD; NEW GIRL's Jake Johnson Being Considered?

After an impressive performance alongside Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man 3, Ty Simpkins has reportedly joined the cast of Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World. However, it sounds as if New Girl star Jake Johnson will be joining him and Bryce Dallas Howard! Read on for details.

Deadline has revealed that Iron Man 3 star Ty Simpkins is the latest addition to the cast of Jurassic World. His impressive resume also includes both of the Insidious movies and War of the Worlds. The site adds that this will be a leading role, while also revealing that New Girl star Jake Johnson (Nick) is also in the mix. They were unable to get confirmation from the studio at this time however, but it seems likely to happen as Johnson worked with director Colin Trevorrow on Safety Not Guaranteed. Regardless, with a title like Jurassic World, fans are hoping that this fourth instalment in the franchise will be bigger and better than those that preceded it. What do you think?

Tardish kid meets Tony Stark. Gives Stark a newspaper covering the news of his disappearance. Tells Stark "You're dead". The proceeds to ask Stark who he is a minute later.

Awesome writing. This guy should be good with twists and jokes.

Actually the kid only recognized iron man from the suit, not Tony stark as he only knew that the name, not the face as he's just a kid. He began to know who he is after Tony showed him the suit and that's when he put two and two together. I know a lot of kids myself who know super Hero's but doesn't know there their civilian identitys.

People need to get over Iron Man 3, it was a great movie, and I was beyond impressed at how Ty Simpkins held up next to Robert Downey Jr. He's got quite the future ahead of him.

Oh, and remember this: Jurassic Park had kids in it too! It was when the kids were being attacked that we felt a true sense of danger because it was then that we realized that NO ONE was safe.

These are great actors, but I do admit I'll be disappointed if Sam Neil and/or Jeff Goldblum don't return.

@Brady1138 The NO ONE being safe thing could have been done WAY better by killing one of the kids...not by having them survive the movie. Then I would actually feel no one is safe from being eaten by a dinosaur or whatever. And guess what? The [frick]ing kids are the ONLY characters in those movies that have always survived and the ones who EVERYONE knows they won't even be harmed.

That sub plot with the kid was so pointless. Guess I should expect something like that from Shane Hack.

Stark held a press conference where he told the world "I am Iron Man". Several exposes' later and "privatizing world peace" along with the production of toy helmets for children, it's highly unlikely the kid thought Stark and Iron Man were two different things.

I wasn't even going to explain that, but you seem like a nice guy.

I can fix movie right now Ingen gets bought out by Biosyn Dodgson make new park invites Hammond grand kids Lex and Tim show them he made a safe park that Hammond could never do and of course its not shit goes down again. History repeats it self easy get old cast back in film there going want to stop them for making same mistakes again and again! This movie not going do that are they and I am going be disappointed due to the lack of seeing old cast. There reason why I like Jurassic park films if there not in it why make this film. Not just about seeing dinosaurs there got be something for use older fans to want to go out see this film.
