With the NBA Playoffs getting underway today, Universal has debuted a pair of awesome new TV spots for Colin Trevorrow's upcoming blockbuster Jurassic World: Dominion.

The first contains plenty of action-packed new dino footage while the second is a fun cross-promotion with ESPN, featuring Jeff Goldblum and Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes.

The highly-anticipated sequel picks up four years after the game-changing events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and will introduce a world where dinosaurs now live - and hunt - alongside humans all across the planet, which should make for one helluva thrill ride this coming June.

The star-studded cast of the Dominion will feature Jurassic alums Chris Pratt (Owen Grady), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), 3x Golden Globe-nominee Sam Neill (Alan Grant), Academy Award-winner Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler), Academy Award-nominee Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm), Jake Johnson (Lowery Cruthers), Omar Sy (Barry Sembane), Justice Smith (Franklin Webb), Daniella Pineda (Zia Rodriguez), Isabella Sermon (Maisie Lockwood), and BD Wong (Dr. Henry Wu).

Newcomers to the franchise include Mamoudou Athie (Sorry for Your Loss), DeWanda Wise (She's Gotta Have It), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Scott Haze (Venom). Details on their roles are currently being kept under wraps. Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man) has also joined the cast as Dodgson.

Jurassic World: Dominion is slated to roar into theaters June 10!

This summer, experience the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are joined by Oscar®-winner Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill in Jurassic World Dominion, a bold, timely and breathtaking new adventure that spans the globe. From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

Cautiously optimistic about this one after that first trailer. Was really digging the vibes of it while not being a big fan of the first two and the OG Jurassic Park being one of my all timer faves.

Hope it's good.

All the evidence necessary that this franchise has been suffering from the lack of the original crew. Malcolm has so much charisma. I love Chris Pratt dearly in Parks and Rec and Guardians but in these movies I find him really boring. Bryce too.

This whole movie will hinge, for me, on the explanation for why the dinos have managed to spread all over the world. A habdful were let loose in a little forest, in the modern age they would absolutely have been able to track them all down and either bring them back or kill them. Worst case scenario a few spread into the local area. How they sprrad all over the world is the big question. I hope they hVe a clever answer.

@connorblaze - my theory is that those dinos that escaped may have been captured by a rival company and they learned how to mass produce them? Still doesn’t explain how all of them got out. And they better explain how there is a dinosaur pandemic when high powered weapons exist. (But then again, in the Lost World those guys had rifles and such and they didn’t do Jack)
