JURASSIC WORLD Franchise Won't Feature Any More Hybrid Dinosaurs After FALLEN KINGDOM's Indoraptor

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will introduce another hybrid dinosaur but the director of the third instalment Colin Trevorrow has promised that the franchise will not return to that well down the line.

Jurassic World largely revolved around the creation of a hybrid dinosaur known as the Indominus Rex which was made to bring visitors back to the park. Things soon went horribly wrong when it escaped and started tearing its way through the guests and the sequel will once again feature a man-made creation, this time designed to be a weapon (until, you know, it inevitably escapes and causes havoc).

While coming up with these new dinosaurs is definitely an interesting direction to take things in, it's already beginning to feel a tad repetitive so you may be glad to know that Jurassic World 3 director Colin Trevorrow will be moving away from that concept as he confirmed Fallen Kingdom's Indoraptor will be the last hybrid to appear in the trilogy (what comes after that remains to be seen, though).

"I’m looking forward to, in the third film, getting a little back into the Paleontological, wild animal, true dinosaur nature of all of it," he revealed, making it clear that the franchise is going back to basics. With the park seemingly destroyed in
Fallen Kingdom by an erupting volcano, it's going to be interesting seeing where things go from here...surely we won't ever get those human/dino hybrids?

As long as they don't go for that garbage "Human/Dinosaur" hybrid plotline. That sounded so awful.

I would like to see the third film feature dinosaurs overpopulating the oceans and causing sea life to go extinct causing massive food shortages and wildlife level extinction to the point where humans are starving and being eaten by dinosaurs. Call it "Jurassic Ocean"

@Luminus - Universal is saving the space concept for Fast and Furious. It's rumored to be called:

Astro Furious

Can I just say, I don't give a shit? This franchise is so boring and played out at this point- the only way I'd see another Jurassic Park is if it was a reboot. Fallen Kingdom is the same shit as the last movie, same Dinos. I just don't care anymore

@PeterSparker - It feels a lot like Lost World: Dinosaurs being captured only to be brought back to America...A Dinosaur brought to America escapes and wrecks havoc...wash, rinse and repeat lol.

@YoloSwaggins812 - The militarized Dinos idea was cool. Too bad what we're getting is the same shit
