According to Variety, David Strathairn (Lincoln, The Bourne Legacy) is in talks to join the cast of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' anticipated Godzilla 3D reboot, which begins production soon. Character and plot details are currently under wraps, but sources say that the actor will be playing a military figure. Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass), Elizabeth Olsen (Oldboy), Bryan Cranston (Argo) and Juliette Binoche (Cosmopolis) make up the movie's rather impressive cast so far, with Gareth Edwards (Monsters) in the director's chair. Godzilla is set to hit theaters May 16th, 2014.

Might be too much to cram in a monster for Godzilla to fight, but I hope he does

This is almost like being a kid in the late 70's,early 80's again.

Star Trek,Superman,Star Wars,Alien franchise and now Godzilla movies coming out.

What more can I ask for?An Indiana Jones film with very little Lucas input to wipe away Crystal Skull.A new Mad Max,Conan,Terminator. It's one big circle.I could almost call it a life.
