Gotta love Misfits, this show is better than some of the shows we have here in America, and sucks that there is a Americanized remake in the works. But the first episode this season was awesome and I'm digging their new powers, its good they didn't go with typical superpowers again. I'm also liking the new guy Rudy he's hilarious, he really made me forget about Nathan.

@grifter I agree! I loved Nathan, but the show was just as good without him, if not better! - all characters are getting more screentime and we're learning more about the past of Alisha which we didn't before. Joseph Gilgun as rudy is perfect, he's such a good actor! I felt like crying when he's the sad double.

@Cherry agreed, Rudy's great, but most of the powers were disappointing, I mean Kelly's now super-smart, Curtis can turn into a lady, and Simon can see the future. Seems so bad compared to telepathy, time travel and invisibility. Rudy's now the only one with a cool power, so he's going to steal the show (which may or may not be a good thing). But there's only been one episode so far, maybe they'll be shown off in interesting ways? Ahh who knows...

Oh yeah, does Alisha even have a power any more? Or did she not buy a new one?

It'd be cool if Nathan did make a guest appearance some time in the future. Not this season (unless its a flashback using stock footage), but somewhere along the line. Maybe if they actually write an ending to the show and have him come back to it in a few years time (instead of it being cancelled or anything).
Another cool idea with Nathan: Since there's talk of an American remake, and Robert Sheehan is now trying to break America, I think it'd be interesting if they made a spin-off within the continuity of the UK series instead. Maybe a similar storm hits the Vegas prison Nathan is locked up in, creating new super-powered characters. The prisoners all use their powers and break out, completely leveling the prison. Nathan could find himself stuck with a group of other superpowered characters, and then similar Misfits shennanigans could take place in Vegas. That's only if they decide to push ahead with the US Series.

@ACira Well, Kelly isn't exactly super smart, she's only smart when it comes to rocket science! not anything else which sucks even more!

Alisha does have a power, she can see things from other peoples perspectives, so she can see through other peoples eyes basically. Its cool, but boring. And Simon's doesn't fit with the character, future Simon could touch Alisha .. but it's weird how he could considering he can see the future and not block her abilities or even travel in time .. so I think the gang will swap powers again at some point.

I hate their powers though, it's like they want to use as little special effects as possible ... in the first 2 seasons they were pretty cool SFX for the powers, now they're all crap.

Well I think the reason Robert Sheehan left was to do more things in his career and not just Misfits, so I doubt he'll come back, maybe 1 episode, a spin off would be good :D but i can't see it happening :(

I just hope they stick to the sex and swearing and crude language because thats what makes Misfits more special, it shouldn't be 'softened down' for America.

watched the first couple seasons on hulu and i gotta say this show is awesome! but i'm not to sure it will be as funny without nathan tho...

i seriously [frick]in love this show!!! im gonna miss nathan and to be honest im not entirely crazy for the new guy. I really like what theyve done with simon's character....he's such a badass!

Ahmerican here. I LOVE this show!!! Just got the gf hooked on it today. Perfect writing and timing. The music in it kicks all forms of ass too.
