New Clip From INTERSTELLAR Featuring Matthew McConaughey And Anne Hathaway

For those of you unfamiliar with the few plot details revealed so far, "Interstellar chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage." With a cast which includes Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, and Michael Caine, Interstellar boasts perhaps the most impressive line-up of actors from any 2014 movie. Nolan’s last non-Batman related picture was Inception, and that earned over $825 million worldwide. After that and the success of The Dark Knight Rises,Interstellar should be even bigger! We're now just a week away from the release of the movie, and this clip reveals a pretty interesting dynamic between McConaughey and Hathaway...

Many reviews of this movie confirm my fears--it's another pathetic Nolan film that tries to be profound, that makes the not-so-intelligent majority of movie-goers think that Nolan has intellectually stimulated them, by blatantly posing questions to the audience that have already been asked and discussed or dismissed. The movie is designed to be talked about. The movie was made to generate hype about the movie itself. People are obviously too ignorant and fan-driven to realize this, so they will praise Nolan for coming up with such a "brilliant" movie, while intelligent professional critics will tell you it's just plain bullshit. It's a bunch of previously existing theories about how the universe works, wrapped in an over-dramatic story filled with plot holes and pretty landscapes. The Nolan formula is getting old, and if you have a brain and you actually deeply study the science of the space, time, life and the universe, I'm pretty sure this movie will make you cringe.

Boring? Not sure what makes me boring, considering I like good movies and I like good theories, I just don't like bad movies about Nolan's theories. Yes, I am a hater for the most part, I don't think Nolan has made anything good except The Dark Knight, and Batman Begins to some extent. Even then, I feel that Nolan is over-credited for The Dark Knight since David S. Goyer wrote the story treatment and Jonathan Nolan wrote the first draft so Nolan had an incredible base to work off of, and what really made the movie was the fantastic supporting cast. Anyways, most rebuttals to anything I say are "Troll!! Nolan hater!!" or "Did you even watch the movie?" or "Your opinion is clearly wrong because everyone loves this movie" which are all terrible and highlight the sad truth about the film industry in regards to directors like Christopher Nolan and James Cameron--since they made a couple of great films in the past, they can release complete garbage and movie-goers will throw money at it and praise it.

Although I am not a huge fan of James Cameron either, what do you expect? I mean look at Transformers AOE for instance. People (for the most part) and critics hated the movie, yet it still grossed 1 billion dollars. So yea I agree with the statement" they can release garbage and moviegoers with money will praise it". And yea I do think Nolan is an innovative film maker but I'm no "Nolanite" or one of those "Nolan I the greatest of all time" people. I'm just a guy who happens to enjoy movies period. My point? If you don't like the movie, fine. If you can make a movie that is daringly brilliant by all means be my guest. But in the meantime, I'll be waiting for November 7th to arrive😉

@krylonshadow

I seriously doubt Nolan would claim the science behind Interstellar is 100% accurate. Its based on theories and then Nolan morphs them for his needs to craft a sci-fi adventure. Its meant to be thrilling entertainment. You are not going to need anything from Texas Instruments to make sense of it. Just like in Inception, he uses theories to ground the story in a certain reality, but not ours. If you dont like Nolan's films, that's fine. But you are not functioning on a higher level of intelligence otherwise you would know better than to leave a comment like the one above.

@Zephyrrr

She said "We're going to be spending a lot of time together"

Cooper: "We should learn to talk"

Hathaway: "and when not to, just being honest"

Cooper: "I don't think you need to be that honest"

Another stunningly brilliant piece of filmmaking by the master of cinematic storytelling, Christ-opher Nolan.

It's amazing, the closer he is to becoming this generation's Kubrick, the more desperate the retarded trolls and hypocritical detractors are for him to become the next Shyamalan.

So, basically, the entirety of your comment was a "humble-brag" as to how awesome you think you are. Ok, got it. Scientific theories have ALWAYS influenced cinema. The fact that you missed this seems to poke a pretty big hole in your self-admiration balloon. Lucy must have given you a stroke. Must be nice to pick and choose though, right? Just so you know, ALL forms of public masturbation are illegal (including mental) so be careful!!
