Pretty cool eh? I'm really hoping this is as good as it looks. Predators is being directed by Nimród Antal, and is based on early draft screenplay written years ago by producer Robert Rodriguez.

Plot wise, all we know is that it focuses on a group of Earths best killers, dropped on a planet with a bunch of Predators and forced to fight for their lives. You don't really need to no anymore do ya?:)

The film goes on worlwide release July 7th.

I always found that age restriction thing a complete waste of time. Unless sit has an anti lie block that gives you an electric shock if you exaggerate the year you were born, what use is it?

Film looks great, but did you notice that they show you at least 2 of the teams deaths in the trailer? I mean I know its obvious that the majority will die but cmon!

I just hope they don't try to throw in any previous movie quotes. That's cheap. Unless it's "Whasa matta Dylan? CIA got you pushing too many pancells?"

@Manhunter Did you see the movie Evolution, the black guy in it talks and explains why the black guy dies first, " because all the directors are white" well not in this case but you get the point. lol

@RorMachine - Exactly! I was complaining about this on the last predator article about how they show to many deaths in the trailers and photos.

On that note however, here is some ironic story speculation - From what I've read don't expect Topher to die right away. Sounds like his character is the wild card. Nobody knows why he's there so he's probably a serial killer or something. I bet he whacks some of the other humans.

if it is earths best killers wouldent they have dutch from the first predator? he would be one of the best killers in the world, killing all those dudes and the predator. unless its like real life and he would be 60 like schwarzenegger

@soperman - yeah, in the movie universe he went into politics and got soft, too. Art imitates life. Now, if Rambo was in this same universe, he could still be a good hunt.

@ Soperman , It depends what the timeline for the film is, Predators may be set 20years or more after the original in which case Dutch wouldnt exactly be prime material.

Maybe you'll get a mention that Dutch ended up there some time later and bit the dust

Kind of annoying to try to watch a trailer while having to listen to the Sorcerer's Apprentice trailer playing. No pause button or anything...It thought they weren't going to have anymore automatically played trailer ads. :-(

Dutch earned his right to live by killing a predator. I'm sure other predators we're aware of the one who blew himself up and that a human killed it. Following the predator honor code he deserves his right to live and not be hunted. The same principle was shown in the second movie with Danny.

ckal@ Thanks! They camouflaged that pause button very well. Talk about Predator! :P It' still annoying to have to do that on every article right now, when they said they wouldn't have those kind of auto trailers anymore.

As for the movie...it will be a rental for me.

Making me feel even better if Rodriguez gets to direct Deadpool. If this does well, it shows that he can take on Deadpool with out FOX [frick]ing it up!
