After the shootout in Hamilton, Ontario, Jose Padilha's RoboCop headed to the University of Toronto to film scenes where Alex Murphy's cyborg suit would be revealed to the press and public for the first time. As you can see, OmniCorp CEO Raymond Sellars (played by Michael Keaton) has arrived, along with Murphy's partner Lewis (Michael Kenneth Williams), his wife Ellen (Abbie Cornish) as well as his son. @MARVELPSYCHO79 Other than being a simple design choice for the new film, it might be reference to the original film in that, in the original, they were able to save one of his arms, though, in that film, his creator made the decision to do away with it.

If this is in fact why its there, his creator in this film thinks differently.

The hand, instead of him just loosing it, I think is going to work as a metaphor for his humanity in this one.

Holy Crap the "Stealth" but "Not So Stealth" Iron Man suit, Oh and Iron Man u kind of forgot your right glove at home, just a heads up and how are u gonna shoot repulsure beam out your right hand u better go back home and get that glove and next time do a suit check leaving your glove is like leaving your keys at home....smh #FAILRoBoCop Reboot

You know what would be cool? If his right hand is a robot one but OCP or whatever put his skin over it Terminator style for "spin".

Has anyone thought that maybe the reason why they left his right hand intact is because they wanted to be able to give people a humanized feel for him when they shake his hand?

Like yes hes a robocop but he's also human and here to protect other humans.

Not judging yet.

Im happy they are taking a little bit different approach for this story thou and not just copying and taking every character from the original film. But i too hope they are targeting this film for adults. Robocop is not Robocop without graphic violence and satire. Sin City and Kick Ass were pretty violent movies and if i remember right they were successful so i think they can easily make this violent too and still earn some money with it.

Kinnaman´s face looks actually quite dead and robotic like Weller´s did. Hope the story is good.

his hand sticking out looks stupid, why is it there why?????????????? thats not a question im asking people. I just think it ruins the look of the suit

I don't' understand why people think that suit looks like iron man's suit...it's completely different! btw...ironmans suit loks more like the original robocop...

Ok... the suit definately looks more "robotic" now..
now i'm wondering why the right hand decides to show up...bugs me...i don't understand...first i was thinking it was because kinnaman was about to smoke some cigarretes...but how about now?

I know and i trust in padilha's work..so i'm' still pumped for this movie! :D

ps: why the [frick] always someone take pictures instead videos? damn..a mere selphone can clean your ass nowdays! why they just record a damn video why the camera that they use to take these pics!
