SYNOPSIS: Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery.

Prometheus isn't set in current day, is it? I thought it was only one generation or so before Alien. So it's odd to see a very mundane chopper in footage from it.

Well, there's a helicopter and its either carrying something really small, something invisible, or nothing. You have some high end timber built outhouses, a woman shopping for groceries with her shopping cart, a traffic cop, and some dude in a white helmet. All on the edge of a cliff of some mysty area with large clumps of rock in their way.

Riveting is what I call this image.

I think this is just a set photo of the crew moving stuff around but if it does end up to be confirmed as a (official) movie photo it could be that so called "beginning" scene with weyland industres
