In Summer 2013, pioneering director J.J. Abrams will deliver an explosive action thriller that takes Star Trek Into Darkness. When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.

With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

I’m kinda scared this movie is gonna be too actiony. Bad enough Abrams betrayed us Trekkies.

@EletricSuperman You mean the same old school Trekkies that bashed his last movie and said that it didn't deserve the name "Star Trek"?

JJ leaving Star Trek was like leaving that Gorgeous girl who you like, but seems to not have any interest in you for that cute girl that actually likes you.

Betrayal? I think not.

@ndwwrestler2
Its not Trekkies in general that bashed him. Its just the ones who won’t settle for anything non-Roddenberry.

To all you fan-boys out there; this is J J's Trek; not Gene Roddenberry's Trek. It's a new Star Trek that appeals to new generation of fan's. I love the old Star Trek; but I like the new Star Trek as well.
