BOBA FETT: Check Out Phil Noto's Depiction Of Taika Waititi As The Notorious STAR WARS Bounty Hunter

Taika Waititi has emerged as a fan-favorite pick for the role of Boba Fett in the Star Wars spinoff, and Phil Noto has now shared some artwork of the Thor: Ragnarok director as the feared Bounty Hunter...

We recently found out that Logan director James Mangold would be helming that long-gestating Boba Fett movie, and since then, Star Wars fans have been discussing who they feel the best person to play the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy would be.

If Mangold and co. stick to canon, whoever lands the role should be of Māori descent, and this has led to Thor: Ragnarok director/actor Taika Waititi emerging as a fan-favorite choice.

Eisner-nominated Marvel Comics artist Phil Noto has now shared his awesome depiction of Waititi as Fett.

Of course, there are also many who'd like to see Attack of The Clones' Daniel Logan reprise the role, and others believe Jango Fett actor Temuera Morrison would be the way to go if they set the movie after the events of Return of the Jedi.

What do you guys think? Is Waititi be your first pick, or do you have someone else in mind to play Boba Fett?

I'll watch any movie with Taika acting or directing in. It can be a fricking live action Teletubbies, idc.

So my answer is yes.

Do it Karl Urban Dredd style: never have him take off the helmet.

Any Boba Fett film should be set after Return of the Jedi.

@DerekLake - Then i could see Taika directing it, but it would have to be a comedi with the first scene being Boba fett getting out of that hole.

@BioTrek - Then it turns out by the end that the whole thing was a dream while still in the Sarlaac. I don't know, that way they can have a Ragnarok style adventure without having that somehow be canon.

@DerekLake - If it's post RotJ I want it to be three and a half hours of him being slowly digested over the last of his life. Because that bad ass got taken out like a punk and I lurve it!

Love Taika, but man is he not right for this role. I want a more gritty assassins film given that it's centered around an anti-hero. If they wanted to do a comedy they would have stuck with Lord and Miller for Solo.

Speaking of which, if Kennedy can't handle the comedy of Lord and Miller, no way will she be able to handle the bombastic improvisational nature of Taika Waititi.

Seems perfect. A comedian for a joke character.

You mean that one bad "death" scene that even George Lucas has repeatedly apologised for?

Don't know enough about the Star Wars lore but always excited to see Jake the Muss in a film.

Excited to see Temuera play Aquamans dad as well.

Did you see it together? I watched it because a mate of mine said we to get big and powerful like Jake The Muss.
Such a brutal film

Dislike Waiti's brand of humor. And Tom Taylor should better be quiet. His Nightwing run was decent at best, but his Wolverine/X-23 was terrible at best.

If you want Fett to ruin every scene that has any kind of dramatic tension by saying something stupid, sure. [frick]ing go for it.
