Looks like Felicity Jones has just found herself a wing-man! Variety are reporting that Elysium actor Diego Luna has been tapped to star in the upcoming Star Wars anthology film, Rogue One. Sources claim that the Mexican actor will play a lead role alongside Jones in the first spin-off in the expanded Star Wars cinematic universe.
Last month, director Gareth Edwards revealed that the movie will be set between Episodes III & IV, focusing on a group of rebel fighters on a mission to steal the Death Star plans. It's widely believed that Jones, Luna and Nightcrawler actor Riz Ahmed will all play rebel fighters, while veteran Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises) will serve as the film's villain.
It appears that Edwards has assembled a pretty formidable and diverse group of talent already. The movie is set to be released December 16, 2016. What do you think of Luna's casting? Let us know in the comments below!
