SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY: Han And Chewie Team Up For This New International Poster And Trailer

The curtain has finally been pulled back on Solo: A Star Wars Story and while there may not be new footage in this international trailer, it's still very cool as is the poster teaming up Han and Chewie.

For a long time, the lack of a trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story was something of a running joke. However, that all changed during this year's Super Bowl and we've since been treated to a lot of new images and story details. Now, an international teaser has been released and while it only combines footage from the TV spot and trailer we've already seen, it still makes for very enjoyable viewing.

The highlight here, however, is the poster which brings together Han Solo and Chewbacca as the Millennium Falcon hovers overhead. It's a typical Photoshop job overall but still not all that bad.

While Disney will more than likely put the focus on Avengers: Infinity War now that Black Panther is in theaters, the marketing campaign for Solo will have to start picking up soon, especially as the movie will have to square off with Deadpool 2! What do you think of this poster? Sound off down below.

I'm not a Star Wars fan, but for you Star Wars fans out there... Lemme ask a question.

Is the equivalent of this movie like making a Tony Stark movie before he became Iron Man? Like a early 20's Tony Stark?

@KWilly - Tony Stark is like the 4th Hobbit of epic characters though, you know, the one no one remebers the name.

It's like making X-Men Origins: Wolverine in the Star Wars universe.

@ODanil - What bullshit. At this point, Kids would know Tony Stark more than they would Clark Kent or Bruce Wayne. I guarantee it.

I dig his jacket, I'm always a sucker for a good coat or jacket in a movie, and have a really nice coat I got in the January sales.

My personal favourite from a film:

Just an awesome yet simple scene, love the way that he scans everyone for clothing, including the women. Also he scans the beard of the guy he takes the clothing from.

Serious Question From A Casual Star Wars Viewer: What was the last Star Wars movie that the "truer fans" didn't abhor?

As a relative outsider, I vividly remember these folks hating the prequels and the first two-thirds of Rogue One; The Force Awakens was primarily shit-talked as being the ultimate in generic, safe, nostalgia-driven dreck UNTIL The Last Jedi dropped, then it suddenly improved to anywhere from passable to genuinely good.

The OT was before my time, but even I recall people souring on Return of the Jedi over the years.

I don't get it.

@EskimoJ -

The last Star Wars anything that fans didn't abhor was a TV series actually: The Clone Wars. Still hugely popular. Rebels is also quite popular too.

Now that I think about it, I'm kinda hoping Dave Filoni would end up taking Kathleen Kennedy's chair.

@EskimoJ - To my knowledge, the only "movie(s)" that were universally praised by fans were in this montage. It's an incredible thing to watch and I'd say it's the recipe of what most of us want to see. Beautiful, tragic, action-packed, mature and visually stunning. Doesn't even need dialogue to tell a story everyone can understand. Just watch the first one, it will show you everything you need to know, and we need to know, about the Dark Side, better than any movie ever did.

@EskimoJ - Rogue one was the last one the die hard fans liked because it was basically a circle jerk of imagery and fan service from the original trilogy without any memorable original character, an engaging plot, or just a story not cover in as many holes as a wheel of cheese.
