Ahsoka Tano greets the droid Chopper on the season

As so many had rightly guessed, Fulcrum turned out to be fan-favourite Clone Wars character Ahsoka Tano, who was once an apprentice to Anakin Skywalker before he turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader. When last we saw her she had left the Jedi order and gone into exile, but last night she made her return, once again voiced by Ashley Eckstein.

Ahsoka Star Wars

Though Ahsoka will play a "significant role" in the series moving forward, don't expect her to pop up every week. Like Vader, the character will be used sparingly to maintain some mystery and excitement for the episodes on which they are featured. More at the link below.

It would be epic for her to face Vader and find out he is anakin shortly before he dispatches her.

I hated this show when it was announced. I hated this show after the first trailer. I hated the designs for the characters. I hated this show canceled Clone Wars. I hated that the characters of the show looked too Disney.

BUT THIS SHOW WAS AWESOME AND HAS ME EATING CROW!!!!

Now that the Inquisitor is dead, maybe Vader will seek a new ally......

She WILL eventually fight Vader. it would be dumb for it to not happen ever. I dont think it will happen anytime soon but it will. I just cant wait for the first time they show her and vader talking to one another. They have prob not seen each other since she left the order when he was still anakin. That will be a sick convo. I think the only way for her character to die before the story of "a new hope" (episode 4) happens, is for Vader to be the one to kill her, OR the emperor. I hope its some epic scene with her dueling vader and vader about to let her live/go but then the emperor comes in and kills her instead pissing vader off and adding to the checklist of reasons to throw palpatine over that famous railing.

I don't like her design for this, she doesn't look anything like the same character from TCW. I know she's fifteen years older but it just doesn't work for me, especially after we saw a grown up version in TCW that looked right.

Really? "Fulcrum"? Whats next? A character named "Wedge"?

Holy shit, wasn't expecting it to be Ahsoka... I thought it was gonna be Mon Mothma or something. Quite interested to see what direction the series is gonna take now...!

I agree that Vader will probably end up killing Ahsoka. They have to have a couple different duels though not just a one and done. I am looking forward to Vader calling her "Snips" and the realization of who Vader is coming across her face.

So glad to see Ahsoka Tano make an appearance once again. She needed to grow beyond just being featured in the Clone Wars. I can't wait till the second season, she's seriously like one of my favorite Star Wars characters!

I don't think there'll be any calling her Snips! Vader is pure evil at this point in time, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he dispatched her without so much as a second thought.

I have really enjoyed this show, much more than Clone Wars, and look forward to watching it with my son each week. It has the classic Star Wars feel and I think it would be awesome if they tied it directly to New Hope at the conclusion of the series.

I have my problems with this show, but there's no doubting the last couple of episodes were pretty awesome. I'm looking forward to more.

If you read anything Filoni says about Vader, he gets the character 100%. There will be no "moment" between these two. He holds what Luke was able to do, to break through the Dark Side and "kill" Vader and awaken Anakin in very high regard and he will not deminish that moment. Vader will see her as a threat, she will sense him, he will tell her that her master is dead and then cut her down.

Hearing Vader say Snips would be chilling, especially if he doesn't say it in an affectionate way and more in a menacing, ironic kind of way. It's hard to know how he'd react to her though. Arguably he should have no quarrel with her given she was long gone before he lost the plot, but at the same time it's because he's so far gone at this point that it makes it unpredictable. I can see his initial approach to her being similar to how his initial approach to Luke was; trying to convert her rather than kill her.

Really hope Ahsoka is in these new spin-off films and Vader kills her in a tragic duel.
KindredMac

Agree... Vader has to meet up with Ahsoka, but I really think it should catch him off guard and have him utter "Snips" under his breath in a tone closer to his Anakin voice.

@dandy - they've talked about 3, starwars.com just recently interviewed Filoni and the last question was around continuity with ROTJ and he said he was very aware of it and they have not decided what to do. They could go down the "they never become actual jedi path" so it's true from a Certain POV or they have not ruled out killing them. Interesting that they 1. Are concerned, shows they care, and 2. Have not decided what to do yet.

You can respect The Clone Wars and eatablish Darth Vader as a evil dude at the same time.
Have Ahsoka already know who it is under the mask and try to compose herself leading up to when she finally meets him in person... then desperately appeal to his better nature.
Then Vader can kill her like the bad-ass mofo he is, swiftly without hesitation.

Definitely going to happen. Ahoska was the big reveal on the good guys' side of things and Darth Vader was the big reveal on the bad guys'. It's going to happen and it's going to be sad and tragic.

It is technically possible that Kanan and Ahsoka survive.

Yes, many believe that the reason why Luke and Leia are the Galaxy's last hope is their potential to be Jedi, Luke and Leia being "the last of the Jedi". I don't believe that at all. If all that was required was a powerful Jedi then it could just as easily have been Obi-Wan, or Yoda. More easily even, as they were fully trained and had many more years of experience than Anakin. They wouldn't have needed to wait until Luke and Leia grew up.

No. Luke and Leia are the new and final hopes because they are the only children of Anakin and Padme. Their ability to use the power of The Force enabled them to get close enough to Darth Vader to turn him against the Emperor, and they were the only hope to reach Anakin once they got to Vader because they are his and Padme's children - their only children.

Of course callously dispatching Ahsoka would go a long way to establishing that Jedi ability is not enough on its own, and I suspect it will be what ultimately happens. Outside of Padme, there is probably no one that Anakin was closer to than Ahsoka. As close as he was to Obi-Wan, Ahsoka was his Padawan. He had known her since she was a child, and essentially raised her from a time when she was young. Both Obi-Wan and Yoda are aware of that, and if she can't reach Anakin then they would know that they can't. So while there are solid arguments for the possibility that both Kanan and Ahsoka survive, I suspect that in the end Ahsoka will not. Her death at Anakin's hands would serve to make the point that what is needed is more than just a Jedi.

And IMHO there is no way at all that Darth Vader would slip and call Ahsoka 'Snips', but I could absolutely see him using the nickname against her and exploiting their past closeness as a weakness. That would be both painful and awesome to watch.

@Wetboy40

No one but Obi-Wan, Yoda, Tarkin, Bail and Palptine know Vaders true identity. Obviously his first victims knew when his body was in-tact but most if not all of them are dead by now. So unless they (any of the confirmed surviving ons) told her I doubt she's aware.

Show rocks, wasn't entirely sold but after the last few episode I've been really digging the direction of the show.

i like the show, had the potential to be as good as clone wars, and than it started to and we got to the finale, it was great over all and that was before Ashoka shows up and Vadar! Wish Vadar had a few lines but whatever. But Seeing Ashoka come back...and older and even more mature...it was just like a dream come true that I never knew I wanted...I did not think she was fulcrum though the idea popped into my head but I really thought it end up being Mon Mothma or even Obi wan. And when the moment comes when Vadar and Ashoka meets...I think I might have tears and it will feel epic but so sad...i wish somehow Ashoka lives when those duels happen but perhaps her dying is what has to happen for the story to have justice?

@Darkjedi41 You don't know what you're talking about. It's obvious that Anakin had an emotional attachment to Ahsoka during the Clone Wars. If you really believe those feelings go away just because he becomes Darth Vader, then you're an idiot. He'll most likely try to turn her to the Dark side instead.

When she encounters Vader for the first time I think she will immediately know who he is due to their close connection with each other and the force.
