Wow. What a day. Between that epic Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer to the preview and leaked footage of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Now before I begin, HUGE props to IGN. All of these photos and articles comes from them. IGN went to the Star Wars Celebration and got photos of some of the new costumes and models being used in Star Wars: The Force Awakens which features some key insight about the film. Let's begin with Finn. Here is his outfit in the film on display.

If you look closely at his outfit, you will see that he carries the lightsaber of Anakin Skywalker and that Luke carried before of course his hand was cut off.

Next, the names of the 2 opposing forces won't be the Rebels and the Imperials by the First Order and the Resistance.

Next the main villain Kylo Ren

Models Of The NEW X-Wing And Of Course, The Millennium Falcon.

Stormtrooper.

Snowtrooper.

The Flametrooper.

BBR-8

So what are your thoughts on these outfits and this news? Comment below, let me know. Peace and remember...

Guys, IGN posted a lot of prop suits and outfits and found out news from there. It will take me a while to sort it all out and edit it.

So in the meanwhile while I edit.

Was anyone actually at celebration today? The reaction there to the trailer was so overwhelming that I was almost terrified.

As a fan of star wars since it came out, and a huge swing enthusiast...I really dig the new design. I think the way the engines and wings work actually makes more sense, and I appreciate the updated and sleek looks for them and the troopers. The production design at least is better than the prequels.

The costumes look excellent. They still feel like Star Wars. After seeing the new trailer, I am so anxious to see the BTS practical effects reel later on. That opening scene with the Star Destroyer buried in the sand? That is the epic sh!t that the prequels tried waaaay too hard to achieve but failed to do so. Things looked real and tangible in the trailer. It didn't look like Green Acreen Matinee. So exciting. It's a great time to be a nerd. Between this, what MCU has coming up soon, what Marvel has started with the Netflix stuff, the sneak peaks at the DCCU finally getting some steam, their TV shows now and on the horizon, freakin Age of Apocalypse next year... It's like now I'm having to find time to watch all this stuff rather than get 1 lame show or movie every few years. You young nerds don't have any idea how good you have it.

What I love about everything I've seen so far of SW:TFA is that the design and style looks and feels like the original trilogy, and seems like it fits in natural with or is a natural evolution of what you saw in episodes IV-VI! My biggest problem with the prequels (besides the boring/bad scripts, horrible acting, and annoying overuse of CGI/green screens) was that 90% of the character/costume/set/prop design just didn't gel or invoke the same sense of amazement I feel when watching the original movies.
It felt like someone presented me with a shiny, new '10 Ford Mustang GT trying to convince me it was the predecessor to the '67 Mustang Shelby GT500 (love that car), which it clearly isn't. So far TFA at least looks/feels like the '78 Mustang II to the original trilogy's '67 Shelby, it sorta looks the same but just updated (though it'll never match the awesomeness of the '67)!

I'm also loving the trailers thus far; they show you just enough to get you hyped, while still giving you a taste and invoking that Star Wars 'feel'. Meanwhile, everything still has a sense of mystery and I for one can't wait to uncover the mystery and explore these new movies! I think a lot of modern blockbusters should take a page out of JJs playbook and do the same with their trailers/movies - Star Wars' in-house 'cousin' *cough*Marvel*cough* could really benefit from not revealing too much and keeping a sense of mystery.
