really? the crappy kid actor is on the cover? ugh, i guess that makes sense from a story perspective, but lord he's painful to watch.

A New Hope and Empire are classics for all time. the rest are mediocre (at best) with amazing special effects. Lucas will make another mint off the sales of crappy movies. ah well.

@write33 Return is a little behind Empire and New Hope, and light years above the new ones.

I don't see an older Yoda on the second set. That's not fair considering there's a younger Vader all over the first set.

The original trilogy looks epic. The other is just a jumbled mess, though.

Yeah, why can't they just use the original art?

I's prefer the OT with their original poster art at least on the reverse sleeve so we can have a choice what to display.

I'd love to have this..

This..

and this..

..Ta very much! :-)

This HURTS soooo much!

If Episodes 1 and 2 did not suck so badly I would love to get this.

Oh well...I must stand up against the Lucas crap-spewing money sucking machine.

They are really trying to get us to buy these movies for the 19th time. Sorry, Georgie Boy, I'm not impressed with your special features and fancy covers. Your Jedi mind tricks will not work on me!

I am lucky i didn't buy any of the previous versions so this will be my first time (unbelievable), i want to buy only the original Trilogy but the 3 discs in the full box are the one that i really like to have so what to do????? [frick]cgin Lucas!!!!

How can they use the original poster art if there is none for either trilogy, These are just the outer covers for each trilogy and the saga, I'm sure the original covers will appear in some form inside (on their individual covers or on the folding case if its like the Back To The Future Blu Rays)
@JR Same here, this will be the first time I get the Star Wars films on home release, at least since I stole my dad's 1997 Trilogy box set on VCR :P
BIGBMH
BIGBMH - 5/4/2011, 1:14 PM
Pretty cool! I can't really justify paying for it since I own them all on DVD, but I'd buy a wordless version of that complete saga cover as a poster.

@ACira Take good care of those tapes buddy, because probably that will be the only time that youll see the OT without the stupid effects.

Damn, Han Solo is barely on that cover.
tehdude
tehdude - 5/4/2011, 2:15 PM
wow, some of you guys take this thing way to seriously. Star wars was always just a big budget B rated sci fi movie. It was special because we were kids when we saw it. and RoTJ is just as bad as the prequels. And RoTS is generally thought of as the saving grace of the PT. Personally, i love all six... only because i saw all six as a kid and back then i didn't care about story and such. It's ok to like bad films, alot of people do. stop being so dramatic, George Lucas didn't rape your childhood... *sigh* what a rant... i need a drink. :P

tehdude there is no room for reason or rationale thought when discussing the Star Wars films. I waited 16 years for new SW movies and despite their cinematic flaws it was a childhood dream come true.
