As Lucasfilm starts work on the Star Wars live-action TV series which will seemingly headline Disney's new streaming service, some very interesting new details have been revealed in regards to who could end up leading the show. According to Making Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and Wonder Woman 1984 star Pedro Pascal is currently being eyed for the mystery lead role.

He's no stranger to television after starring in Narcos and it would definitely be a smart decision to cast a talented and diverse actor like Pascal in the untitled series which is being developed by Jon Favreau.

The site also reveals that Favreau (Iron Man), Dave Filoni (Star Wars Rebels), and Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) are all on board to direct episodes. There's expected to be eight in total as Disney will be spending a lot of money on the show so this will be a step above something like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and more like Game of Thrones on HBO. The plot is expected to revolve around the rise of Mandalore.

I'm gonna need some cameos from the OT characters due to this shows timeline. Like Luke( bring in S. Stans) Chewy would be doable, Nien Num, or a Vader / Emperor flash back etc.

Gee......more Star Wars, if a franchise could give you Diabetes reckon it'd be Star Wars, right now they're designing the adorable creature soft toys, vehicles, weapons, remote control droids you'll be stuffing under your tree and getting with your McDonalds meal.

This series could be everything Star Wars fans have ever wanted and yet still be hated by certain people.
