The soundtrack for the big screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games includes a number of notable musicians, including Maroon 5, Arcade Fire, The Civil Wars, and Miranda Lambert, not to mention Taylor Swift. Swift’s recording of “Safe & Sounds” made its way online back in December. And while we probably won’t get to hear the official version of “Eyes Open” until the soundtrack releases tomorrow, here’s a live version of it, which Swift performed at Vecter Arena in Auckland New Zealand.

The Hunger Games is an upcoming science fiction action-drama film directed by Gary Ross and based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth, and Woody Harrelson. It will be released on March 21, 2012 in France and some other countries and in the United States on March 23, 2012 in conventional theaters and in digital IMAX theaters.
