Good lord the CGI on that Terminator. This looks like a fan film.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - I know people are gonna say the cgi is "unfinished", but the movie is out in 2 weeks...how much more finished could it get in that time? This looks like cheap shit.

If it’s true that they’ve essentially killed off John Connors character.. then I’m really disappointed in the franchise.. I’m one of the few who actually liked Christian Bales portrayal.. I’ve always felt like been there done that with Terminators going back in time .. and that having a few movies set after the apocalypse.. be Skynet or whoever .. would be a nice change.. Salvation wasn’t perfect.. but it’s not as bad at T3.. so yeah

Lastly it is nice to see Sarah Connor being played by a total badass Linda Hamilton.. hope they don’t screw this over as bad as the last movie staring Emilia Clarke

@MuadDib - A source supposedly connected to the production team said those leaks about John Connor being killed were actually released by Tim Miller/James Cameron. Apparently, they wanted to see how fans would react to the character being killed off.

Edward Furlong is going to be in Dark Fate, so I’m more hopeful for the fate of the character.

I think the biggest problem with the Terminator franchise is that they don't really seem to get the heart of the story. My gut feeling about this movie is that they're playing on the nostalgia and iconic elements of the franchise without continuing the story in a way that satisfies any fans.

Terminator is about the Connor family. The central focus of the movie should be Sarah, John or Kyle. I'm also open to Kate Connor or her and John's kids, but I don't want to see Sarah passing the torch to a couple of randos. As flawed and disappointing as Salvation was, I really wish they had just stayed the course with the future war conflict. We'd be at the finale of the future was trilogy by now rather than a soft reboot beginning the journey of characters we don't care about.

@MuadDib - Reese 19:84 tells us that there is no fate but what we make for ourselves. But we did not choose this Dark Fate. It is a corruption of our franchise that we must deny!

I really enjoyed the MK11 Terminator ending. It made the most sense to me ass to what e machine would calculate as the best possible outcome and execute that.

This must be the last scene of the film because it shows both parts of the Rev-9 terminator being killed off. The End.

If this fails, then they should do a full on reboot and start creating shared universe with some other rebooted IP's. Some ideal candidates would include...

1) Terminator, Nemesis, and Cyborg franchises.

2) Gemini Man, the Sixth day and Replica's

3) The Matrix, the Cell, Dreamscape and Tron

@KingCipher - ...keep in mind these films would be rebooted to incorporate these other franchises.
