UPDATE: First TV Spot For PROMETHEUS Revealed?

There's not much in the way of new footage, but hit the jump to check out what appears to be the first TV spot (which apparently aired during last night's season finale of The Walking Dead) for Sir Ridley Scott's highly anticipated Prometheus.

Ridley Scott, director of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner,' returns to the genre he helped define. With 'Prometheus', he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Well, it looks like the above TV spot may in fact be fan made! Our friends over at Latino Review have posted this low-res recording of the actual spot which aired during last night's season finale of The Walking Dead.

STARRING:

Noomi Rapace as Elizabeth Shaw
Michael Fassbender as David
Guy Pearce as Stannison
Idris Elba as Captain Janek
Logan Marshall-Green as Holloway
Charlize Theron as Meredith Vickers

RELEASE DATE: June 8th, 2012.

you know what? You people should not get all that footage all at once because then you're never gonna be satisfied. i don't mind a trailer but 2 trailers and a tv spot? Someone's desperate, it would seem.
