THR caught up with Chastain at the Toronto International Film Festival, and asked her about her role in Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. Although her character is rumoured to be the grown up daughter of Matthew McConaughey's space-fairing lead, since that still hasn't been confirmed she plays coy with specifics -- simply stating that although she's "not a huge part" of the film, she does have a "great role".

The adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

Directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan (“Inception,” “The Dark Knight” Trilogy), a script based on the combination of an original idea by Nolan and an existing script by Jonathan Nolan. The cast includes: Matthew McConaughey (“Magic Mike”), Anne Hathaway (“Les Miserables”), Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty”), Bill Irwin (“Rachel Getting Married”), John Lithgow (“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”), Casey Affleck (“Gone Baby Gone”), David Gyasi (“Cloud Atlas”), Wes Bentley (“The Hunger Games”), Mackenzie Foy (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 and 2”) Timothée Chalamet (TV’s “Homeland”), Topher Grace (“Spider-Man 3”), David Oyelowo (“Jack Reacher”), Ellen Burstyn (“The Exorcist”), and Michael Caine (“The Cider House Rules”.The film will be released in IMAX® and 35mm theaters on November 7, 2014.

@BlueWaffle Someone's redheaded girlfriend cheated on him. I mean, really??? She only talked about female superheroes twice. Dial it down a notch.

You're acting like she talks about playing wanting to play a superhero every day. And if she did, that still wouldn't make it appropriate to call her a "bitch."

Nolan is good but he is a bit overhyped and a bit overrated. He isn't the "god of Hollywood". I do love some of he movies, but he isn't above making lazy mistakes or making a bad movie

@BlueWaffle Sorry, but the only punk here is you. Because only a punk would report those comments, especially the last one. I'm not going to report your comments, because I don't like snitching on people. I actually prefer to talk things out in the comment section instead of just reporting someone.

The only time I report a comment, is when someone goes way over the line. Now you're just trying to save face by replying to me now and cussing me out. Whatever.

Nolan isn't "God of Hollywood". TDKR was embarrassingly bad for a director who's behind masterpieces like The Prestige. He makes mistakes sometimes.

Lol archgoat thinks tdkr was embarrassingly bad. What's to be embarrassed about? The universal praise it received? The billion dollars it made? Most films that have the reviews tdkr has are embarrassingly bad. Yup, makes total sense. Now TAS2, that's a film to be embarrassed about.
