Marvel Studios has debuted a new TV spot for the next Phase 4 adventure, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which is set for release in theatres (only) on September 3.

It's fairly brief promo, but it does cram in quite a bit of new footage of the titular Master of Martial Arts in action as he faces-off against the evil Wenwu's forces. We also see Katy demand to know who her friend really is after "a guy with a freakin' machete for an arm just chopped our bus in half."

To be fair, that sort of thing will tend to lead to a few questions!

Check out the new spot below, and let us know if you're looking forward to Shang-Chi in the comments.

Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The film also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and produced by Kevin Feige and Jonathan Schwartz, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Charles Newirth serving as executive producers.
